It's a clean and comfortable village homestay in the mountain area. We had a good sleep before our early visit to Maiji Shan scenic spot. The owner and his wife are kind and pleasant. The owner himself picked us from the bus station, sent us and picked us up from the entrance to the scenic spot. And also to the bus station to catch a bus back to Maiji town.
We had dinner at their courtyard and we enjoyed the food cooked by the boss himself.

I chose this hotel in order to go to Maijishan Grottoes early in the morning. The location is very advantageous. It is only a ten-minute walk to the tourist center. The hotel facilities are good, the price is very affordable, and you can check out late until two o'clock. What was really speechless was that there was a very bad smell as soon as I entered the room. I changed to another room and still had the same problem. The front desk said that other guests had also complained about it and asked us to ventilate the room ourselves, but it didn't go away after a long time. I observed that it was the odor of the cleaning rag and mop. They should learn from other hotels how to keep the indoor air fresh. It doesn't require a nice fragrance, but I shouldn't have to fall asleep smelling the stench all night. This is really important for someone like me who is sensitive to smells.
