Airport Guide

Compare 5 airports near Turin

For most travelers, Turin Caselle Airport (TRN) is the clear primary choice as it is the only airport located within the city. It offers the most efficient access to the city center and serves as the main gateway for both domestic and international traffic for the region. The other airports are located in neighboring cities and serve primarily as secondary options. Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), located in the neighboring city of Milan, is a major international hub that provides extensive global connections but requires a significantly longer journey to reach Turin. Similarly, Milan Linate Airport (LIN) and Il Caravaggio International Airport (BGY) are both positioned within the Milan metropolitan area, far from Turin, and are generally only practical if you find substantially lower fares or have specific destination requirements. Monaco Heliport (MCM) is located in the Principality of Monaco and is entirely separate from Turin, making it an unconventional and expensive choice. When traveling from these neighboring cities, train and bus options remain the most reliable, though transit times can be extensive due to the distance.

Value-for-Money Stay with Room for Improvement Hotel Diplomatic offers good value for money, especially with its comfortable beds and quality pillows which made for a restful stay. The breakfast spread was generous and satisfying. However, some finishes—particularly the flooring—could use a refresh to better reflect the hotel’s 4-star rating. It would also be helpful to have insect screens on the windows, especially since the air conditioning is centrally controlled. While the location is a bit removed from the main attractions, it's still reasonable considering the price point.

The hotel is very welcoming, well-furnished, and well-maintained. The room was very spacious and equipped with everything needed. The staff were professional and efficient. The hotel's free parking is convenient, located right next to the building. Just a few meters away, there's also a metro station for getting to the city center and the shopping mall, as well as the Pinacoteca Agnelli and the Pista 500.

Thee landry service ruined my branded jacket, instead of dry clean, they did a normal wash which was very unprofessional. However, the front desk staff was helpful and brought it to the management and issued compensation but the whole process took sometimes. In general, apart from the incident with the laundry , overall stay was pleasant and good location.

Nice enough hotel but located way too far from the centre if you’re relying on public transport. If you have your own car then it’s probably ok. Typical fairly basic Novotel hotel room. Relatively low occupancy when we stayed so didn’t notice any neighbour noise. Tram line was undergoing repair work when we were there which made it very inconvenient to get to the hotel.

If you spend the night in this city, it's a great hotel. The location is very good, the surroundings are very quiet, and there are very good restaurants nearby. If you had stayed here, you would not have chosen another hotel.

It was fairly good except the male waiter at the breakfast as I asked him where is the olive oil then he kept saying ” si si on the table” and it was not on the table .. it would be better to be more sincere or at least ask his manager if he's not able to speak English , this made me feel bit irritating as he obviously looks annoyed by answering my question all the rest was ok , would select this hotel again if I go Torino

Sagging mattress, uncomfortable Uncomfortable wool pillows We didn't sleep well Not worth the price paid Terrible breakfast Parking being limited to the capacity of customers, should be booked before arrival, however this information was communicated to us at check in causing us serious inconvenience considering the central location of the hotel and especially our late arrival time at the hotel which forced us to have to wander around for a long time at night looking for a parking space

First of all, it is worth recognizing the layout and comfort of the hotel room. But as a Hilton hotel, I think it does not meet the conditions. First point: When we arrived, there was no one at the hotel door to help open the door and help with the luggage. Only the receptionist stood in the distance waiting for us, and we had to carry the boxes over many steps to check in. When we finished checking in, the reception desk called a staff member from nowhere to help push the luggage, but the staff member seemed unwilling to help me push the luggage, because he even wanted to push all the suitcases into the elevator where I was and turn around and leave, but he did not succeed because the elevator could not accommodate him. Second point, the room was not cleaned in time. One morning, I hung the card that needed to be cleaned before going out. As a result, when we came back in the afternoon, we found that the room was not cleaned, so we had to go to the front desk to ask please help me clean the room. Third, when we checked out, the front desk system and staff were confused. I paid the full room fee when I booked. When I checked out, the staff asked me to pay the room rate again, which confused me, but she was quickly stopped by her manager.

The room is great. Walking into the inner building of this hotel is like walking into a Roman palace. The room is very large, with dry and wet separation, good hygiene, and very high ceilings. The room has a balcony, looking at the church opposite. It is very close to all places, and it takes 15 minutes to walk to both the attractions and Via Roma. The location is great! Serviced butler-style one-to-one service. Overall, it is great and worth experiencing. A small suggestion for the hotel is that their gypsum board is a little peeling. If this is done well, it will be more perfect.

The hotel is located right next to the train station 🚉. After breakfast and collecting our luggage 🧳, we could walk right into the train station square in less than five minutes. Cleanliness: Why was the water from our room's kettle so cloudy? I don't understand. I hope the hotel will check the kettle in our room. The shower gel 🧴 in the room smelled amazing, a classic European scent, I loved it! Service: Pretty good. When we checked in at night, they told us there was a bar on the sixth floor where we could get something to eat, but we just went to sleep and didn't go. The breakfast was really great, with a wide variety of options. The staff 💁♀️ proactively asked if we wanted coffee or tea 🫖.

The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the Porta Nuova train station, and a 5-minute walk to the left is the subway station. There is a supermarket not far across the road, but most supermarkets in Turin close at 8 p.m. The girls and boys who received the hotel were all very smiling. The room was not big, but it was enough. The hotel stored luggage for free. When you arrive in Turin, you must first go to the Castello Square on Garibaldi Street. There is a tourist center on the left building facing the Royal Palace of Turin, where you can buy a museum + public transportation card. This card is very cost-effective. After buying it, you can enter almost all museums in Turin for free and take buses and subways unlimited times. I suffered a loss when I first arrived. Yesterday, I bought a public transportation card at a tobacco shop (small convenience store) on the street. Before coming, I was afraid that it would be difficult to buy tickets for the Egyptian Museum on site, so I bought tickets for the Egyptian Museum online in advance for 18 euros. Yesterday, I spent 10 euros to visit three museums, and the net loss was at least 30 euros. But I am also open-minded. It is normal to spend money in a strange place. The purpose of travel is to be happy.

If I go back to Turin, I will go back to this hotel. It is located in the old town, which is good for sightseeing, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. There was an issue with the recharge when I checked out, but it was resolved quickly.

The location is fantastic, just a 3-minute walk from Porta Nuova station and within walking distance of most major tourist attractions. The breakfast was excellent, and the reasonable price was a big plus. It was during a heatwave and we were experiencing scorching hot days, but the air conditioning worked well, and we were able to relax when we returned to the hotel. If I have the opportunity to come to Turin again, I would definitely like to stay here again.
