The listing said there was a bathtub, but my room didn't have one. The room photos also showed rooms with only a shower, so it might be that rooms are assigned randomly. If you really want a bathtub, it's probably a good idea to note it in the special requests section. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and it had a fridge. Excellent Accessibility to Airport and City Center
The subway, airport transfers, and walking to the city center were all incredibly convenient and great.
Having a large supermarket and food court right in front of the hotel was also extremely convenient.
Even with the scorching June weather, the hotel's proximity allowed us to easily pop back in from exploring the city to cool down, which was fantastic.^
The lounge access was also satisfying (though closing at 8 PM was a slight disappointment), and we made good use of the food and beverages, especially given Vienna's high prices.
We upgraded from a city panorama view to a park view room, which was a great decision. The eye-level view of St. Stephen's Cathedral and the park was truly healing for all three days we were there.♡FromUS$190

The hotel is quite close to the train station only a 7 min walk away. There is also a tram right outside. The metro isn’t too fair either, about 10 mins or so.
You can download their app and then use your phone as your hotel room key which was super handy. So I was able to check in online get my room key on the app and just go straight to my room when I got in.
The rooms were nice but as other reviews said there’s no kettle of coffee, you can add that on for €8 on the app and website though. The beds were soooooo comfy it was like sleeping on a cloud so so nice.
There is a water refill in the lobby. Also need to mention that receptionists were always so friendly too.

I stayed for 3 days, and the service mostly met my expectations. They helped with luggage, and the turndown service and daily room cleaning were all provided as they should be.
The rooftop bar also offers a nice view.
There's a gym and a pool downstairs too.
Breakfast really depends on the main course you order; after a few days, I found the English breakfast and Eggs Benedict to be quite good.
The room had high ceilings, and the view outside the window was also pleasant.
Since it's right next to the City Park, it's very close to the station for the Airport Express (CAT) and places like the Musikverein (Golden Hall).
From the hotel, you can reach Schönbrunn Palace, Belvedere Palace, or Hofburg Palace within 20 minutes by metro or tram.
By the way, buying a city card that includes the airport pass is quite worthwhile (the hop-on hop-off bus didn't seem to have much purpose).
Public transport is excellent; the metro and trams are very well-developed, and they run late, pretty much covering everything you'd need.

The room was quite spacious and clean. The location is absolutely fantastic – it's not a super high-end five-star hotel, more like an entry-level five-star or a strong four-star feel. The hotel is close to all the attractions, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, plus a supermarket. Oh, and the hotel only provides one 750ml glass bottled water per day. We stayed here on Christmas Eve during the first snowfall. The reception staff were helpful, and slippers are available upon request. The hotel itself is simple and not fancy, but the location is excellent — right next to the train station, making trains and trams very accessible and easy for getting around the city. Pros:
- The room was spacious, with a very high ceiling.
- The interior was classically decorated.
- The windows were well-insulated, so despite being next to the street, it wasn't noisy at night.
Cons:
- The furniture was old. Two days in a row, I found rivets from the furniture on the carpet, which could be dangerous if you accidentally stepped on them. One day, I noticed a leg missing from a stool. I notified the front desk, but when I returned to my room, I found that the maintenance staff had removed the desk and chair.
- Breakfast was quite busy with tour groups.

A very historical hotel ! This is the one I was so looking into! However, we stayed in Room 320 and had a noice all night (every couple minutes). At 4am, the noice continued .. We could not sleep and ask the front desk for tea. I mentioned this issue and the feedback is “tea is on us”. They said they will check until we checked out the room ( however, we were on the way for breakfast so we would prefer at least for them to check, they refused). I managed to record the sound and showed the front desk. But no response! Paying so much money for this experience! Mindful, the room only offer coffee No Tea!

Hotel puts responsibility to travel agent which we book our rooms we do not have this problem with our hotels in Prague, Budapest, Salzburg and Zurich. le Meridian Vienna is the only hotel that makes extra charge and does not review its policy.
