I recommend the hotel because it's cleaner than the resort.

I went there for a good price. It's far from Yangyang Market, but there's a sea nearby and I don't have to go out at night, so it was okay. There was a bit of noise between floors. The hot spring was slippery and very nice. I think I'll go again if I get the chance.FromUS$44

A very cosy room for 2 persons. Conplete with cooking stove, big fridge, microwave oven, washing machine, laundry rack and a small dining table for 2. The wardrobe is spacious . Personal amenities can be purchased at the vending machine at the ground floor.
There is a 24-hour GS25 convenient store at the ground level. There is a modern cafe at the ground level.

I visited with my family and friends. Usually, if you go to a panties, you can see how clean the bedding, toilet and refrigerator are, but it was really clean! The location is good and I will never forget the fire hole I enjoyed in the mountains at night. I can also bring my dog, so I think I will go often in the future! Totally recommended ♡FromUS$51

Whenever we visited Gangwon-do with our family, we always had bad experiences with accommodations, but this time was a huge success. First of all, it is very clean. My wife is sensitive about cleanliness, but both the bathroom and bedroom were truly spotless enough to satisfy her. Also, it was nice to have a quiet night. Hotel is self check-in (no staff onsite), you’ll receive a message from the hotel on the luggage storage password (24 hrs access - no assigned locker, just a room), and your room number and password. Ignore the self checkin kiosk at the lift lobby, you can go straight to your room with the password (but early checkin results in extra $). There is a wonderful sea view cafe called Hajodae Coffee, right at the next building. The Naksansa temple is also within walking distance (dont follow Naver Map, just walk towards Naksan Beach Hotel - you can see a lot of people walking up the steep road up the hotel). Food was unfortunately meant for groups, so solo travellers might need to make do with whatever you can find (convenience stores were available everywhere). There is a coin karaoke at Level 2 of the hotel building, have fun. Just felt a bit cheated when the bed actually back faces the sea, you cant see anything from the bed 😂. On the side, the tiles in the balcony seemed really dangerous, like they were going to explode. Loved that you can take the bus 9-1 from Yangyang Passenger Terminal (if you come from Gangneung Intercity Bus Terminal). It runs surprisingly quite frequent, about 10mins.FromUS$37

It's right in front of Naksan Beach, and it's right in front of the ocean, and there's a convenience store, a chicken restaurant, and even a coin karaoke, so it was great for my daughter's birthday trip~
The facilities are also very clean, so the whole family is very satisfied^^

Very cute little place although not fancy by any means. We arrived at 10pm and were able to eat at the little pocha at the front of the building. The owner and the chef were both lovely and kept talking to us. The chef allowed us to take a bowl full of snack around the beach with us lol.FromUS$33
