My friend and I chose the Fulong Holiday Hotel and stayed in a Star Sleep twin room. It came with a balcony, a bathtub, and panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows – truly a dream setup for winter! **Cleanliness:** The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and clean, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. Soaking in the tub was incredibly relaxing. Perfect attention to detail! **Environment:** The snow scenery outside the window was picturesque. The hotel's architecture has a lovely Nordic flair, making it an amazing spot for photos! **Service:** The front desk staff was warm and attentive, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. The breakfast was also very varied. My friend and I had an amazing time. Highly recommend it to anyone coming for skiing or a holiday! 📸 Attached are 3 real photos, unedited and filter-free – what you see is what you get!

Thaiwoo Ski Resort/Wanlong Ski Resort Zhangjiakou|49.52km from city center
Bad check in service at front counter lady. Seems more occupied with her task than guest service. I have to call and request for our sofa bed to be open. Given we book and indicated a family of 4, unlike other hotels whom immediately arrange all additional required items such as toothbrushs, slippers, towels, water, etc. Here I have to call to request for each items. The wifi doesn't work. I have to physically bring my laptop to the front desk for assistance.. and even that was not able to connect. Breakfast, average as the food are abit hard - hard noodles, hotdogs, breads.. Only cons is location near to ski and restaurants but so are a few hotels nearby. Free scheduled public bus shuttle to/fro train station, have to walk about 7 mins to the bus stop. As a Hyatt member, this is the worse Hyatt Place hotels I stayed. I believe surrounding hotels will have better guest services and competitive price too.

Five-star rating for the staff! Liu Qianqian helped me with a late checkout because I had to wait for my child to finish skiing at 4:30 PM, and that late checkout was a lifesaver. BUT, the room I booked dropped in price. Even though it no longer included the yoga experience, it wasn't the exact same package, but seriously, who needs a yoga experience? A lower price is always king! This is definitely the top value-for-money choice in Chongli.

The check-in and checkout process is very quick and simple. I booked through trip.com and the process was seamless. The hotel is centrally located to many restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, staff courteous and breakfast delicios. It’s my second time staying there. Highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are clean and tidy. We booked a family room, which had two double beds and a bunk bed, perfect for a family trip. The biggest advantage, of course, is the ski-in/ski-out access directly to Genting Ski Resort. You can even see Su Yiming's training big air ramp from the restaurant! It's definitely the best hotel in the Genting ski area. You absolutely must book the ski-and-stay package that includes ski passes. On busy weekends, it's also essential to book the one with fast passes, as it makes a huge difference. Honestly, apart from Thaiwoo and Aranya, the hotels in Chongli generally aren't that great. However, Genting has excellent snow and less wind, and Genting Grand Hotel is already the best hotel at Genting Ski Resort.

Before my arrival, the hotel called to kindly remind me to bring warm clothes. I quickly dug out my waterproof jacket and down coat. It's been raining these past few days and the evenings are truly cold. Luckily, I brought all my warm clothes and they came in handy. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich, and both the Chinese and Western dishes were delicious. The mountain view room was quite spacious, well-laid out, and even had a walk-in closet, which was convenient for luggage and clothes. The hotel is very close to the high-speed rail station, but it wasn't noisy at all – very quiet! The staff were all very enthusiastic. I look forward to coming back again!

I specifically chose this pet-friendly hotel in Chongli for a summer escape with my dog. It was so convenient that they allow pets. The room was clean and airy, and there are many walking trails nearby, so taking my dog out was a breeze. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and very gentle with my dog. The room itself was spacious and odor-free, with a balcony offering mountain views. Downstairs, there's a large lawn perfect for dog walking. It's also very close to the town's commercial street, and parking is free if you're driving.

During the National Day holiday, rooms in Taiwu Town were scarce and prices skyrocketed. Compared to other hotels, Ruijing Hotel's prices were relatively reasonable. Facilities: The hotel is built on a hillside. For higher floors, multiple elevators need to be used, resulting in a long walking distance – a bit of an indirect workout. The hotel lacks central air conditioning and heating/cooling. There is also no swimming pool. Cleanliness: Although there were no-smoking signs in the non-smoking rooms, there was still a lingering smell of smoke, indicating past guest negligence. Pushing the twin beds together revealed a hard-to-clean area under the beds, but housekeeping handled it promptly and properly, which was satisfactory. Environment: The higher floors offer a direct view of Xue Ruyi, which is nice. During my stay in October, there was a large construction site 50 meters in front of the hotel, making the area dusty and muddy. Drainage repairs were also being done on the balcony platform. However, the noise was minimal and didn't disturb rest. Service: The hotel service was generally good. Room service responded quickly and efficiently; the lobby platform was limited and crowded, but there was someone to assist with parking; at night, when I requested a heater, the male manager on duty quickly and efficiently arranged for one, which was generally satisfactory. Breakfast was average, nothing special. Dinner was at the buffet in the adjacent Vienna Hotel; the food was decent and the prices were reasonable. I rarely stay at hotels under the China Travel Service group, so I hope local hotel groups will work harder and improve.

This stay was extremely satisfying, exceeding expectations in every aspect. It offered excellent value for money and I highly recommend it! The hotel boasts a superb location with convenient transportation; taxis and public transport are readily available. Supermarkets, restaurants, and convenience stores are all nearby, making dining and shopping easy. It's suitable for both tourism and business trips. The hotel environment is clean and tidy. The lobby is simple yet elegant, and the public areas are spotless and odor-free. The quiet and comfortable atmosphere is relaxing and soothing. The room was excellent, odor-free, well-lit and well-ventilated, spacious and airy with a reasonable layout. The bedding was clean and soft, and the blankets were dry and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, the facilities were in good working order, hot water was plentiful and the water pressure was stable, and the toiletries were clean and easy to use. The entire room was thoroughly cleaned, with no dust in the corners, and the towels and bath towels were clean and hygienic, giving me peace of mind. The facilities are complete and comprehensive. The air conditioning is sensitive and temperature-controlled, the WiFi speed is stable and smooth, the lighting is soft, and the sockets are conveniently located, making it easy to charge devices, work, and watch TV. Disposable toiletries, a hairdryer, and other amenities were provided, showing thoughtful attention to detail. The service deserves high praise. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and check-in and check-out were efficient and quick. They patiently answered all my questions. The housekeeping service was prompt and attentive, proactively replenishing supplies and responding quickly. The hotel has excellent soundproofing, ensuring privacy. Security within the grounds is robust, with strict access control, making my stay safe and worry-free. Overall, the experience was excellent. Great location, cleanliness, complete facilities, attentive service, and great value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time and would recommend it to friends and family. Highly recommended!

There were good things and bad things for this weekend trip. The bad things did not ruin the trip and we still have a great time. First, the parking here is so horrible. We drove around a few times to find a spot to oark. We couldn’t drive up to check-in. The parking garage was full and asking the guard about where to park he said the lot and garage were at capacity. We arrived well after the checkin time but our room was not ready and were still being cleaned. It took 4 people to check us in but they eventually got it sorted but this was an issue that was not in their control. They made the process very smooth and stored our luggage as we waited in the lobby. They have Starbucks” in the lobby and we waited for the rooms. The rooms were amazing and had that old world few feel to them. The beds were comfortable and the suites were very spacious. We had both a 1 bedroom suite and an executive suite. The breakfast did not live up to expectations they were slow to refill juices and left with a feeling of being mediocre. Steamed buns were soggy. We ordered food from Delivery and ate dinner out.

Took a trip with the family for my birthday weekend and some family time. The hotel was amazing. Great staff and location was perfect for traveling around the area. They have underground parking and even have a PlayStation near the hotel elevators so you can pay or locate your car. Parking garage elevators are separate from the hotel room elevators. Close to shopping and eateries and the pool was great for doing some laps my son and husband have the pool to theirselves. There were two lifeguards on duty. We took a trip over to the Gate and ate at the restaurant on the second floor. Food was very delicious and the service was top notch. It was a great ending to a relaxing weekend. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely go again.

This year I went to Yangshuo, Quanzhou, and Suzhou and stayed in Qingpu. When I saw Ruiyun had a special offer, I decided to come there. I will continue traveling in October and check in to Nanjing Qingpu. The location of Ruiyun is easy to find, it occupies a large area and has good privacy. Enter from the gate, park the car, and walk all the way inside to see the winery, accommodation, restaurants and vineyards, all arranged in an orderly manner. There are not many rooms in Ruiyun, only 15. Thanks to our housekeeper Xiaoman, we upgraded to a quiet room type. The room is large and has a small courtyard. Although it is on the first floor, it is not damp at all. After checking in, we said we wanted to take a walk, and she took us to visit the public areas, underground wine cellars and vineyards and explained the wine-making process of Ruiyun Winery. When I came to Ruiyun this time, I found that a common problem in Qingpu is food! Let’s talk about breakfast first. It seems very rich, but the quality of the ingredients cannot be complimented, and waste is inevitable. The second is the taste of the food. Among the four restaurants I have stayed at in Qingpu Zhongwulin, it is the best. Since the main focus is on cultural hotels, please strengthen the food culture experience section🤭

The hotel's setting is truly lovely. On a clear day after the rain, you can enjoy distant views of the reservoir, and there are geese and ducks by the small lake in the garden. The non-motorized children's play facilities are also well-maintained. However, the rooms are a bit on the small side, and the decor isn't quite up to 5-star standard. The big slide at the children's water park has very limited operating hours. What's more, a relatively easy slide surprisingly requires kids to be over 1.5 meters tall to use, which frankly underestimates how capable children are in the water these days.

This was my fourth ski season staying at Summit Hotel, and it's definitely the best hotel in Genting and Wanlong. The rooms are fully equipped, the service is excellent, and the price is reasonable. Even during Chinese New Year, the price increase was minimal, making it the best value for money in Chongli. Every staff member greeted us with a smile and proactively offered to help with luggage. The Jinghuan Family Suite is an amazing value; not only is the room spacious, offering 270° mountain and snow views, but the tatami mat by the window was also incredibly convenient and a big hit with the kids. The hotel breakfast was rich and delicious, and the Hunan cuisine on the ground floor and the Yunnan cuisine on the ninth floor were both very authentic, with a top-notch dining environment. The hotel offers ski-in/ski-out access, which is super convenient. With the Yunlong Pass, you can ski to Wanlong and back, making for a fantastic experience. Fennie, the Assistant Manager in the hotel lobby, was beautiful, kind, warm, and attentive. She proactively upgraded our room and checked in with us every day afterward to ensure we were comfortable and if we needed any further assistance. Her thoughtfulness made us feel incredibly warm, and we'll definitely choose Summit Hotel again because of her. Having stayed at Courtyard, InterContinental, Fulong, Wanlong Longgong, and Crowne Plaza Cuishanshan during previous ski trips to Chongli, considering overall hotel facilities, service, cleanliness, and ski resort convenience, Summit Hotel is undoubtedly the best choice.
