Since my friend lives near Ueno Station, I specifically booked a hotel here for my last few days to make it easier to meet up. The location is fantastic, and the front desk lady was super friendly and had a sweet smile. I really liked her! The first floor also offers free tea, soup, a microwave, and tables and chairs for dining. They don't provide daily housekeeping, but you can leave your trash and used towels outside your door each morning to get fresh ones. I think that's perfectly fine; we didn't have much trash to dispose of anyway. The bed was a bit too soft for me; the edges were high, and the middle sagged a bit, causing a slight incline. The hairdryer was quite loud and piercing. It would be perfect if they could improve those two things.
