Chose this hotel as it is very convenient to go to the Shinkansen station for my kyoto day trips. The hotel is just 1 min away from esaka metro station thus I took about 25mins to get to Kyoto (2 metro stops 5min+ 13 min Shinkansen stop on the nozomi line) We didn’t want to stay two places as it is troublesome to change hotel and move luggages around. Although it is further from airport than popular areas like namba, it doesn’t make much of a difference anyway as both takes about 1 hour.

The location was excellent. It was close to the station, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. The facilities were old, but the cleanliness seemed thorough. Considering the cost-performance ratio, it was more than adequate. However, the razor provided as an amenity was disappointing, or rather, dangerous. Even though I used it very carefully because it was disposable, I ended up with a bloody shave. I didn't comment on it, but I think some people might make a fuss about it.

The main power outlet was completely out of power, the blankets seemed unsuitable, the air conditioner filter looked like it hadn't been washed in a long time, and the air conditioning blew out roughly the same amount of cold air regardless of the temperature setting. Otherwise, there were no other issues. The location is good; there's a Saizeriya supermarket, udon noodle shop, Uniqlo, drugstore, 100 yen shop, and gadget store right outside.
