Great location (restaurants, kombini and several train/subways lines within a couple minutes walking). The room was very clean (walls and ceiling had a few marks). It had a nice view towards Akihabara from the 16th floor. The room is fairly sized for a Japan standard, comfortable for a single person although a bit challenging to handle a large suitcase. I wish there wasn't the massage chair in the room in favor of more open space.

The location is fantastic, right outside Akihabara subway station, and breakfast also offers a street view. Check-in was semi-self-service, and while not many words were exchanged, the staff seemed a bit cold, and it was the same at check-out. Cleanliness is impeccable, as is typical in Japan – everything is very clean. Breakfast, as pictured, was neither good nor bad. Overall, I highly recommend it. It's great value for money, and I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Akihabara.

I stayed at the APA Hotel, located near the Showa-dori exit of Akihabara Station, about a 5-minute walk away. Check-in was smooth. The room was clean. The receptionist didn't provide information about bedding, so I went to bed without it the first night. On the evening of the second day, I found a bag hanging from the door handle. It contained bedding, towels, etc., and it wasn't until I checked the room and found the bedding. I tried to use the bathtub, but it was rough and left white powder on my fingertips. The room was clearly not clean enough. Breakfast started at 7:00, but it was insufficiently prepared and there was no rice. The breakfast area was very small, and even a small group wouldn't be able to find a seat. Given the location, it was expensive, but I felt the quality of the world-famous APA Hotel. The breakfast staff were foreigners. I wonder if room service was also foreign? If you weren't used to bathtub culture, you probably wouldn't notice.

Great location with just a few minutes walk to Akihabala. There is another Resol hotel right across the street and we got to the wrong one on the first day. But the staff of both hotels were super helpful and friendly and provided us with a map with instructions to the right Resol hotel. Loved the idea of welcoming guests with a gachapon experience. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. Would be even nicer if some local cuisine could be included. Room was quiet and clean, aminities were provided on the reception floor. The cleaning staff would provide new towels and take care of your garbage everyday. The two checked cushions in the room had an unpleasant smell. I guess it might be better to put on some cushions covers so that it's easier to clean. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay and a big thumb up to the friendly staff!

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Japan. They offer a pillow menu, and the executive lounge serves drinks and snacks from 7-10 PM. There's also an onsen. It is a bit small, but that's typical for hotels in Japan at this price point.
