I liked being in London.
Big, busy, dynamic, exciting and quite an experience if you have never been there before. You will hear many different languages and accents, and see a much more diverse group of people than you will in most American cities, or frankly pretty much any city in the world.
It is quite charming and plenty to discover.
Goa Tanding is a cave tour that has recently opened, the result of the dredging of limestone so that there is a cave .. This cave is not located far from Goa Pindul. Goa Tanding is a tourist destination in Gunung Kidul that offers other activities, besides playing water, visitors can do fish therapy or play in a flower garden.
Go to Goa Tanding uses a rubber boat, the light inside the cave is quite dark, so using a flashlight. The cost of a cave railroad is more than 100 thousand ... Besides Goa Tanding there is a natural pool with clear water. There are fish that can make body therapy.
Hiking Osmeña Peak on Cebu for sunrise was one of my favorite adventures during our time on the island. It is a 1-hour drive from the small town of Alegria on Cebu and is an amazing sunrise hike with a stunning backdrop of steep cliffs.
Getting to Osmeña Peak Hike on Cebu
In the small town of Alegria in the Philippines, I woke at 3 am, gathered my gear and met our driver at the front of our hostel. For 500 Pesos per person or $10 USD we had a return trip to Osmeña Peak, the tallest peak on Cebu.
The three of us crammed onto the habal-habal, which was easy on the wallet but incredibly uncomfortable on the butt cheeks. If you are a budget traveler it will be your only choice from Alegria when looking to hike Osmeña Peak, but if you have the cash rent a car or get some other way up there!
Balwarte ni Alfredo: The famous Antique House and Diner in Balamban
Balwarte ni Alfredo is an old house which offers a homey place for the public. If you are searching for inexpensive but worth it place to keep your sanity from the hectic schedules and daily routines, then this place is for you.
This antique house was built many years ago and it showcases various prehistoric artifacts that were bought and collected from different places outside the country, mostly from Indonesia.
The best part? They serve delicious street food and lutong-bahay dishes at an affordable price — from breakfast to lunch and dinner! You can definitely reward yourself with good food here after strolling around Balamban. Siomai sa Tisa, grilled chicken, pork barbecue, tempura and squid balls are just some of the food they serve. They are also considering to serve halo-halo and other desserts soon.
HOW TO GET TO BALWARTE NI ALFREDO:
** If you are in a private vehicle:
It may take 30 - 40 minutes away from JY Square. It is situated in Ga-as Balamban. When going up, it's on the left side, a few meters away from Island in the sky, before you reach West 35 Eco- Mountain Resort.
**If on a public vehicle:
You may take a van going to Balamban and just inform the driver to drop you off at Balwarte ni Alfredo as this is just along the road as mentioned above.
During our conversation with the owners, Balwarte ni Alfredo still has an ongoing construction for family rooms to accommodate people who want to stay overnight, In fact, they are also planning to open a trekking tour for groups of people for the different falls in Balamban and hoping to have ATV ride activities as well.
Quench your thirst. Appreciate the view.
Drink your coffee whilst looking at a beautiful view of the mountainside. Nestled along Cebu Transcentral Highway, this mountainside café though not that spacious is known for its serene atmosphere and a little view of the city.
Crate Café offers several espresso-based drinks and ample selection of pies, and cakes. Some of their most prominent drinks are the Banana Coffee Caramel and Raspberry White Mocha.
The Govardana villa at Dwaraka, the Royal Villas, in Ubud, Bali, is stunning! I highly recommend staying at Dwaraka to experience utopia and a touch of royalty during your visit to Ubud.Due to a significant storm crossing over Ubud, I unfortunately didn't manage to make check-in until 10:30 pm. I arrived at reception hungry, and as the kitchen had closed at 10 pm, the staff had the forethought to prearrange a filling sandwich to be prepared for my arrival. I was appreciative they were courteous enough to think ahead for me.
After being shown to my villa, I ran around for about 10 minutes, in awe, looking at everything and repeating the word 'wow'. The Govardana villa is impressive. The detail of the Balinese fixtures and fittings inside the villa is incredible, plus frangipanis were placed throughout, adding a soft aroma to the villa and indulging my senses even further. Additional to the charming setting, tiny fireflies floated around outside, above the pool.
Being the first time touring Singapore CBD and Clark Quay from the river, the impression was excellent. It's just 40 minutes but sufficient to see the best sides of the island and also a touch of the heritage of Singapore River where many older generation spent time living together with. For a small price and convenient boarding point at Marina Bay Sand, it's highly recommended, especially those who haven't tried seeing Singapore from another perspective
Had a couple's retreat with my partner to Oasia Downtown. We thoroughly enjoyed the club room and facilities. They greeted us with our choice of beverages and continuously made their rounds to make sure we were taken care of as we relaxed. The room was immaculate and service staff were able to meet our requests both effectively and efficiently. The club pool was indeed an experience ss well.
I really liked the decor and the emphasis they placed on sustainability and green living. The harmonious mix of bamboo furniture and modern amenities was pleasant and put us at ease.
Dunhuang is in the far west of Gansu province and an important stop on the ancient Silk Road. The city was founded by Emperor Wudi of the Han dynasty in 111 BC at the cross roads of two trading routes on the Silk Road, and the name Dunhuang basically means to 'to prosper'. Nowadays it's a quite modern city that profits a lot from national and international tourism.
🚄 Dunhuang is accessible by plane, train, bus and car.
⛺ The place we stayed is about 4-6km East of the most popular scenic area. You don't need a ticket and there are a lot of hotels. Price depends from guesthouse to guesthouse, different quality and size of tent.
ℹ️ It's sometimes noisy due to the motorbikes that can ride you deeper into the dessert. If you want it more calm, choose a more remote guesthouse or walk deeper into the dessert (tiring)
ℹ️ You can also sleep in the city center and make a daytrip into the dessert
I was lucky enough to be the guest of this hotel twice already, and the third booking will not have to wait long. Great place for a romantic staycation (and I didn't believe in staycations before), or when you just need some time to kick back and relax- but still follow a healthy routine. Highlights for me were the absolutely amazing, always attentive and professional staff (Woo Bar, restaurant, spa and gym- all of them), the chicken rice from the in-room dining menu, poke bowl at breakfast, and the buckwheat pillow from the pillow
If you enjoy sleeping while listening to the sounds of the waves on your private beach then this is the place for you. The rooms are comfortable with private balconies overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. A trolley picks you up across the street for a free, easy ride to downtown Laguna. Good restaurants within close walking distance to hotel.
The staff ensure all your needs are met. This customer service, overseen by Nick & Bashir, is top notch ! Their warm hospitality ensures I will return again and again. Highly recommended.
