It takes about an hour to take the subway from Fukuyama Station, close to Okayama Station. A large area, a very historical commercial street shop, there are various snacks and snacks for sale. The most worthwhile visit is a small river inside, with willow on both sides of the bank, white walls and black tiled houses, the river is short, and it takes ten minutes to take a boat back and forth. [View] The summer scenery is very good

Lovely two days here, it was still pretty rushed to see all the museums. If you are an art lover, it’s a really nice getaway. But make sure to check the weather before going, it wasn’t nice when it rained a full day…Loved the chichu art museum, Hiroshi Sugimoto Gallery and Lee Ufan museum. Was a bit disappointed with the art houses, but lovely to walk around the little town of Honmura. Make sure you book dinner ahead of time because they are either always full or closes early. And 7-11 isn’t 24 hr either and could be quite faraway depending on where you are staying. Also transportation aren’t regular and often, so plan ahead! or bike, but some places are rather hilly. Don’t miss going to Teshima Island, the contemporary museum there was interesting even though small. On a sunny day, it was just beautiful!

A very old park, the trees inside are quite old, the summer is hot, the inside is full of cicadas, there are rice fields and tea tree gardens, spring should be more beautiful in the past, after going out from the side door, walk across a bridge, the river is Okayama City.

If you are planning to visit a castle, this one is much of a better choice than Hiroshima or Osaka castle. For a simple reason; this one is real, the others are fake. From Himeji station it's a 15-20 minute walk, passing by different shops with souvenirs and other stuff. The park of the castle itself is not impressive but the castle, completely manufactured out of wood, is something special and very well preserved. I'm sure tons of rework and maintenance is being carried out to keep it in it's original shape but it remains cool to walk through. There is a designated walking route through the castle which brings you all the way to the top floor with some great views over Himeji. After your visit, it's totally worth visiting the neighboring garden Koko-en. I would say, for both the castle and graden, a 2,5 to 3 hours is enough traveling time excluded.

Okama, as the earliest main city developed by Ukido in the Warring States era in Japan, has been witnessing the development of the Edo Shogunate with the development of the Warring States era. It is also a bit historical. In order to promote tourism, many of them are commemorating Ukido. Anyway, the ticket in the Warring States is pulled over and put in the sky. Okama City is different from the complete city. At present, there are only one or two small gates in Tianshou and Benmaru, and because it is Pingcheng, there is no steep terrain, so if you come, it is mainly from the back park, because there are tickets, Therefore, there is no need to buy tickets for the city. There are a lot of displays in Tianshou Pavilion, which specially introduces the history of the city and some small experience projects. The city itself is not high. After climbing to the top, you can see the opposite river and the back park from the sky. This side is only separated from the back park by a river. After crossing an iron bridge, the scenery is still beautiful.

Buildings by Famous Architects
Art Museums
多啦丘丘
The name Chung-hsiung Ando, although not as household as Master Pei, is also a national treasure architect in Japan. In order not to damage the view of Seto-Inner National Park, he built the art museum buildings underground. Overlooking from the sky, the simple geometric shapes open to the sky are also named for this. The museum cannot be photographed, and the pictures taken outside are very shocking. The architect's use of light and geometry has reached the extreme. There are not many exhibits in the museum, but there are a lot of breathtaking: Monet's "Waterlily", James • Turrell (James Turrell) Open Sky/Blue Planet Sky, etc., really only you can understand the charm of art! ! !

Conan fans' favorite! Beirong - Conan Town - like many small Japanese villages, sparsely populated, no tall buildings, it can be imagined, if there is no Qingshan Gangchang and his Conan Jun, this should be just an ordinary, quiet seaside town. It is precisely because of the enduring comics of detective Conan that injects a steady stream of popularity and vitality into the town. [wit]
