"Kristiansund Pier, this place has been a local transportation hub and trade gathering place for generations, and it is also a place where ships deliver local food to the city. There are two eye-catching sculptures on the pier, one is Klippfiskkjerringa-The old women of clipfish, a sculpture that symbolizes the city. The old woman held the dried cod in her hand and looked firmly at the customers coming and going on the dock. Opposite this is another sculpture, SILDGUTTEN—herring boy. The child carries a bunch of herring in his hand and sells it at the dock. There are also two boats parked at the pier, one is the RAPP cruise ship of Sundbåten (St. Bergen). It is one of the oldest public transport ships in the world. The operation period was from 1958 to 2014. It has been protected by Norwegian cultural heritage. The protection of the council. In the past, tourists could make round trips to the four islands of Kristiansund in about 20 minutes. An older ferry, the FRAMNES, operated from 1917 until 2017. Another eye-catching monument on the pier is a large mine from the First World War. There is an inscription in Norwegian: MINNE OVER SJOMENN FRA KRISTIANSUND SOM FALT UNDER VERDENSKRIGENE 1914-1918 OG 1939-1945. Translated into English as "Memory of seamen from KRISTIANSUND who fell during World War 1914-1918 AND 1939--1945", to commemorate the Kristiansund seamen who died during World War I and World War II."

"This is an Old Bergen Museum. The live drama shows the life of people in the past. Also there were plenty of houses you can visit. It worths spending half day or more in it and experience the life in the past."

"Several piers in Bergen are very distinctive. There are many sculptures related to the sea in Bryggen Pier. The red houses on both sides of the pier look very old. However, what attracts me most is the fish market. Feast on all kinds of seafood!"

"The museum was incredible. It was very well presented and really enjoyed seeing the bravery and hardship of the experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone. It is free but you can donate money to the military. Lots of information in English and important parts about the female contribution."
