Ohotsk current ice originates from Heilongjiang estuary. Heilongjiang brings abundant fresh water to the Okhotsk Sea and extreme cold in East Siberia. The frozen fresh water drifts southward from the north to the coast of Hokkaido along with the current and wind direction, forming a shocking Okhotsk current ice landscape.
Come to the foot of Tiandu Mountain, the venue is not big, from the ground floor began to visit. First, I went to the small cinema to watch a film about drifting ice. I used five screens to show the growth of drifting ice. I felt a little dizzy sitting too close. Out of the projection hall, there is a popular science introduction about the formation of drifting ice. The magical creature in the biological tank is a small creature called "drifting ice angel". It is transparent and has a little red body and head. It is like a small angel flapping its wings when swimming in the water. Then I came to the drifting ice body feeling room, where the natural drifting ice was preserved at minus 15 degrees. If I felt cold, I could rent the cold-proof clothes, but it was good in a short time.
If you can go to sea by boat to see drifting ice, that's the best. But if it stops sailing because of strong wind or snow, the drifting ice museum is a good alternative. At the top, you can see the drifting ice in the sea in the distance, and you can also understand the causes of the drifting ice indoors. When a room enters, everyone will throw a towel in it, and it will freeze soon.
Here you can learn the knowledge of downstream ice, and you can experience the winter cold of minus 15 degrees in the freezing experience room. Free cotton-padded clothes are available at the entrance. Although cattle are also seen with short sleeves, it is recommended to wear them. It's really cold to stay a little longer.
Originally, I brought my children to the slide today, but I heard that the weather was bad and it was not open. I had a good ice-cream in the lobby. The roof could see the scenery of the whole bay and the lake on the net. Downstairs is an ice rink. There's nothing good to see.
It is the lowest latitude in the world and has sea ice phenomena. Every winter, sea ice from the north comes to this area, and summer recedes. In order to retain sea ice, the local people have built a special drift ice house, which stores the sea ice salvaged in winter in the room of minus 40 degrees for students and tourists to study and visit.
Not far from the drifting ice boat pier, the salesmen will come out and wave to the passengers on board, which adds a lot of enthusiasm to our drifting ice journey. It is this scene that makes me notice the shop and go for a special tour in the snow after getting off the ship. The glass products in the shop are less than those in the small bottles, and the space in the shop is more spacious, as if there are also experience workshops.
