Glenelg Beach Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Nice weather for the Beach in SA
#vianasjourney
It’s a good weather to visit the beach today. Took a free tram to Glenelg Beach from Stamford Plaza. I said free because according to the staff at the station, they won’t charge you if you come back in less than 2 hours. The area doesn’t look like how it used to be. Last time there were many colourful tents on the beach side and there’s also a ferris wheels which looks amazingly beautiful during sunset. I’ve asked a local and she said it was there in summer and they removed it in winter. Guess I better come during summer next time. But still, it’s a nice visit, also it’s free ride.

👙Beachy Time 🏖️🇦🇺
Glenelg Beach is a MUST visit in ADL. it’s a perfect get away from the city.
it’s located 30-40 min tram ride away from the city.
Now that it’s summer in the Aus it would be perfect to visit the beach and have a picnic 🧺 or swim in the ocean 🦈
The beach does get quite busy during the day so preferably going there in the afternoon closer to the evening would be a better idea if you wouldn’t want to burn your skin.
There’s also a Lott of nice restaurants and cafes that are worth visiting.

Adelaide’s Golden Beach (Glenelg Beach)
Glenelg is the most popular and most family -friendly metropolitan beach in Adelaide. It’s also the easiest to access. Just hop on the tram from the city and get off at Moseley Square, just metres away from the water at Glenelg Beach.
It is a lovely beach that will shine in sunset that you never seen before.
Jetty Road is a bustling mix of quality cafés, clothing boutiques and restaurants. End your day in luxury at the plush Stamford Grand hotel or Seawall apartments, overlooking the beautiful Glenelg beach.

Adelaide Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
After visiting Melbourne and the Northern Territory, we came to Adelaide. 🤔️Adelaide is very quiet city with annual temperatures ranging from 10 to 28 degrees. It is really one of the most liveable cities I've visited. 👍🏻Here, self-driving is a good choice. You can go to the national park of South Australia, go to Kangaroo Island , or go to the zoo to see cute kangaroos!

Adelaide Soft, Alpaca, Australia, Softfoot, Alpaca, hh/
The farmer, who was a mechanic, bought the land 20 years ago and built an alpaca here. Wild animals and a kingdom full of love.
Attend one hour of Tour, you can follow the farm's Chinese guide, drive four-wheel drive to the jungle and farm hinterland, chase the kangaroos in groups, and feed hundreds of alpacas. The alpaca sprouted, and when I saw the grass in the plate, I immediately sang it, and I immediately rushed to grab it, and I was very strong. I couldnt lift it with the hand of the pot. The guide tells us that the alpaca's hair can't be touched, it will be very unhappy, and the hairstyle is a sign of their self-confidence. It turns out to be really ecstasy.
In addition to the animals, you can also visit the natural scenery on the farm. The story of the farmer's grandfather creating the Love River for the artist's grandmother is very moving. The whole park is full of lakes and mountains, and the natural scenery is pleasant. Grandma cooked the dessert for us. Grandpa showed us the beloved toy excavator. The daughter showed us the whip. It was a very happy afternoon. I really want to hold an alpaca back to China

Adelaide at sunset, set an EcoCaddy to explore the city scenery and street art, is a special experience, this bicycle similar to the Chinese tricycle is actually very foreign, there are navigation road map and seat belt. The guy who rides the bike is handsome and talkative. He is very fluent in learning Chinese. He only taught "We go." It is very standard.
Follow the car all the way to string, enjoy a lot of good-looking old and new buildings, drill into the colorful graffiti wall alleys, occasionally the locals enthusiastically into the camera's picture... The afterglow is very warm, just like The wind in South Australia is not anxious, falling in love with the slow pace and coziness here.

I thought that the winter in the southern hemisphere was cold and bleak, but I never wanted to meet the sun and the bright sunshine.
The sides of the road, the rolling hills, the endless grape fields, meet in the colorful colors.
The winter in South Australia ,so nice

Minimono Noodle Bar 🍜
📍Location: 182 Rundle St, Adelaide SA 5000, Australia
💸Price: $20-$30per person
👩🍳Atmosphere: This small restaurant has a very nice light aesthetic and the colors really make the place look clean and high end.
🍜Food/service: Honestly the food is good but for the options it wasn’t too much variety in foods and drinks. They do offer a very different type of ramen such as lobster 🦞 and truffle. The service was quick but the overall experience wasn’t that great.

From exotic species to native favorites like koalas and kangaroos, the zoo offers diverse encounters for visitors. Educational programs and conservation initiatives further enhance the experience, making it both entertaining and enlightening.

Adelaide Zoo
#australiatrip A phenomenal adventure in every way. I recommend booking ahead if you want to go to any specific animal experiences, as there were only a few left when I went in the morning on a weekend, though I loved the tortoise and pygmy hippo experiences that I did go to, and so also could recommend just rocking up and seeing what "less popular" animals are still available for a more intimate experience (or even one-on-one experience as I had with the tortoises).
I spent an entire day here from almost opening time through to closing, and I still feel like I could have spent more time here because there are so many animals to see. Bring some good walking shoes, a bottle of water, and a fan if you're going in summer, though there is plenty of seating with some lovely views of the animals all around, and some air-conditioned areas such as where the insects are and pandas.
Lovely descriptive signage complete with an indication of how threatened each species is. If you'd like to see a particular animal, look up their most active hours ahead of time and plan your stroll past them then, or at feeding time (many more animals were active in the morning particularly on the hot summer day I went).
A beautiful zoo, definitely a must-visit if you are in Adelaide, especially as being the only zoo in Australia with giant pandas at time of writing.

I'm so lucky to have encountered a wild koala in South Australia
During my trip to South Australia, one of my goals was to take a photo with a koala. In Australia, only South Australia and Queensland allow you to hold koalas, so I met a koala baby at the Adelaide Hills Wildlife Park.
Later, I also visited the Eyre Peninsula, a 40-minute flight from Adelaide to Port Lincoln. Port Lincoln has lots of seafood, marine animals, and national parks, and of course, Mikkira Station, a private sanctuary. Established in 1842, it was settled and built into a beautiful home, and now the sanctuary is home to many wild koalas, but seeing them is a matter of luck.
The weather was cloudy and not too hot when I arrived, so many small animals were out and about. Along the way, I saw emus, kangaroos, and other wild animals, and of course, I found 3 adorable koalas. Although they are wild, they seemed not at all afraid of people, but with their speed, they couldn't run away even if they were.
Wild animals should not be touched, so we could take photos from a very close distance, but we also didn't make loud noises or touch them, allowing them a comfortable environment and a pleasant afternoon.
Add: Mikkira Station
Tips: Fly from China to Adelaide, then transfer to Port Lincoln from Adelaide. There are many fun things to do in Port Lincoln that require a local guide, and many places you can't enter on your own. Adelaide also has a lot of fun places to visit, such as the Gorge Wildlife Park, the German Village, and the library at the University of Adelaide are all great to explore. You can also go to Barossa to taste wine, as South Australia's wines have a rich historical heritage.

Adelaide Zoo 🗺️
#2024wish
Just had the most amazing day at Adelaide Zoo! 🦁 Entrance fee was $38, but worth every penny for the wildlife wonderland. 🎟️
The zoo's layout is fantastic – felt like I was on a global safari with animals from every corner of the planet. 🌍 The pandas stole my heart, and the Australian exhibit was a hit with kangaroos casually hopping around. 🐨
The zookeepers are like animal whisperers, sharing cool facts and making the experience super educational. 🤓 The kid in me loved the close encounters – feeding giraffes and chilling with the playful lemurs. 🦒
Post-zoo vibes, head to the nearby Botanic Park for a chill picnic or stroll along the River Torrens for scenic views. 🌳🚶 #AdelaideZooAdventures #WildlifeWonder #FamilyFun #NatureEscape

Adelaide Central Market Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Sunday at Adelaide
SoLo TRip
Adelaide's central market, which is known as one of the top ten most worthwhile markets in the world. After going to the St. Lawrence Market in Canada and the Mahathir Yehuda Market in Jerusalem, Israel, I think that the most special thing about the Adelaide Central Market is that everything can be sold here, from ingredients to cameras, etc. It is not only a market for fresh ingredients, but also a microcosm of South Australia's multiculturalism, reflecting South Australia's unique history of immigrant entrepreneurship and struggle. It was founded by German immigrants in 1869. Since then, immigrants from all over the world have brought the exquisite cuisines of their hometowns to the market, forming a colorful multicultural and multi-ethnic gathering place. Every stall in the market has a moving story. There are a lot of things to be found here. . . . There are no good things in the country. do not miss it! The cameras in Figures 5 and 6 are my favorite.

Four-day Adelaide car-free travel guide
Day1️⃣:Central Market—South Australia Gallery/Library/Museum—Hallet Cove 🏛️
Have breakfast at Central Market, you must try the Mussel from Si sea😋, fresh and juicy; Cumbia is also delicious, especially the Crab pasta and honey squid🍝, but these two are only available for lunch after 12 o'clock😕. Picture 3 is the coffee bean shop in the market☕️, I had a special Greek coffee, it's amazing👌, the milk foam is delicate, the coffee is rich, the taste is just right, a very special flavor😍.
After eating and drinking, go to the South Australia Gallery🖼️, library📚 and museum🏛️. The Museum is boring😴, the Gallery is surprising and stunning😯, the famous 'Jealousy of Kalk' is hidden here, as well as the installation art of artists like Yayoi Kusama and Shiho Salt Field🎨, there is a special exhibition of Japan downstairs, picture 6 is more shocking to the naked eye😲.
You can take the bus directly to Hallet Cove in the city, just search for the bus route on the map, dinner can be solved directly at the seaside restaurant, mediocre😋.
Day 2️⃣:German Village—Carrick Hill 🏰
You can reach by round trip bus, you can take the bus back to the city from the German village, and then take a taxi to Carrick Hill🚕. Have lunch at The haus🍴, this place has better taste and presentation. (The big pork knuckle actually tastes average, it will be greasy and tiring to eat later, and don't buy souvenirs in the German village❗️The prices here are very expensive, and there are no very special souvenirs.)
Carrick Hill's business hours are from 10:00 to 16:30 from Wednesday to Sunday, remember to leave enough time for the visit😉.
Day3️⃣:Victor Harbor 🌊
We chose a day trip to Victor Harbor🚌, it is recommended to directly search for Victor Harbor Day trip, and then choose a cheap one. We met a very good local lady, she will tell us a lot of Adelaide's history and fun facts along the way👍.
After arriving at Victor Harbor, it is better to buy a one-way horse carriage ticket🐴, so you can take the horse carriage to the island, and then walk back. We had seafood pizza at Nino's🍕, I personally think it tastes very good, my friend and I ate a whole pizza in one go😋.
Day4️⃣:Penfolds Winery—Pink Lake 🍷
Bought a Chinese-led day trip on 🍑, the leader sister is very nice, but Penfolds Winery is boring😴.
Pink Lake is not in season now, it's better to go in September and October👍, the penultimate picture is the pinkest one we saw in the lake, and we can't stop, the last one is the current situation of the Pink (White) Lake without filter, many Pink Lake photos on xhs are color-adjusted📸.
Overall, the four-day car-free tour of Adelaide is very worth a visit, with urban culture, gourmet sea views, historical buildings, and beautiful coastlines and natural scenery🌅.
