It was amazing to stroll through such a lush paradise bordering the city center. The gorgeous water features, spectacular array of plant species and meandering pathways made this garden a pleasant place to visit even in the dead of winter. There’s also a popular cafe and restaurant on the grounds.
A really pretty place to have a picnic, to just chill and relax. It's in the city, yet away from the hustle and bustle.
It was nice break out from city but I visited during August so not many things to see there in this time.
You wouldn't believe that these are just a half a block from one of the busiest areas in the city. These beautiful grounds have some beautiful gardens and a plethora of native bird life. It's a great place to take a packed lunch, to stroll around by yourself or with a friend or to spend a day learning about plants. It is right between the Museum of South Australia and the National Wine Center and all three are free. Combine this with a nice meal out and you have a pretty awesome day.
