    A great family beach

    The beach is very clean and the view is beautiful. It’s very sandy and quite shallow. There is a public boat launch there and you can rent paddle boards, kayaks and canoes but only in July and August...

    Great spot for a picnic lunch. Lots of history to read about on historical plaques.

    I was unaware of the history of Petawawa, except that there is a military base. Very interesting historical events. Great view too!

    What a Surprise

    Surprised to find such an expanse of beautiful sand and a lovely prospect looking out over several long islands to the Ottawa river. Clean, safe and loads of space.

    Relaxing spot!

    Nicest spot in Petawawa for a day at the beach and picnic. I think the locals want to keep this place to themselves and that’s why more isn’t said about it:)
