Our waiter was very attentive and the salad bar was always full of fresh dishes. I had hoped to have mashed potatoes but didn&#39;t see them. Dessert was not included in the high price and I was a bit disappointed. A very good experience.

We were looking for a light lunch in a nice setting, and tried out the Railway Cafe. We were glad we did. Few restaurants have such a gorgeous setting, and the interior is quite swank. We had their lunch special, a Pastrami Sandwich with Mushroom and Bacon Soup, which was very good. And for $8, can&#39;t beat the value. They have changed the parking arrangement, and now there are City parking meters. A bonus, there is 90 minute free option, so you can&#39;t dawdle, but you certainly can finish your meal or snack.

We always get family season passes, but my biggest beef is that I have to bring a lunch with me for my wheat allergy. The kids love the cookies, sandwiches, soup and cheese buns, but the staff is never sure if the chili has flour in it, so I&#39;m usually left watching my family eat. Otherwise, this is a great little cafe outside the park, the period costumes are cute and the food looks like it would be delicious.
