This little Bistrot is excellent in every way, from the warm service, tasteful interior, to the good value wine list and food offering. Go for the local red or white, as the selection here are amongst the best producers. We had a Montecappone Verdicchio dei Castelli Di Jesi "Federico II" and it was very good. Even the Piadina of vegetables was not the typical fare and exceptionally good. Definitely a place I want to return if I go to Ancona again in future. Be sure to make a reservation as this place is popular.
His family has the taste of black sesame, like sesame paste, but others don’t. Cheesecake is also delicious.
A fabulous choice of (local) wines, super friendly service, a nice environment and reasonable prices. In my opinion this is a great formula and you can be satisfied whatever you have. I am Italian and in some ways this place fits the stereotype of high quality but affordable 'enotecas' that are supposedly typical of Italy, but in fact are all-too-rare. Great place!
