Shuhe Ancient Town is located at the intersection of the two rivers of Shuhan. It's an important material distribution center and trade center in the upper reaches of the Han River. It's known as Little Hankou. The name Shuhe was conceived at the beginning of the Western Zhou Dynasty. When Zhou King Wu sealed off and blockaded Zhou, he cut off the Shu Kingdom north of Henan's Nanyang. Due to the expansion of the Chu Kingdom, the people of the Shu Kingdom were forced to move westward, stopping here, thus receiving the name Shuhe. There are many cultural attractions in Shuhe Ancient Town. There is a heavy cultural accumulation, as it has been an open port since ancient times.
