About Anshan: Located in the south-central part of Liaoning Province, Anshan is one of the cities with local legislative power approved by the State Council and is named the "Capital of Steel and Iron." Anshan is one of the birthplaces of mankind in ancient times, with many ancient human sites in the area. Located in the southeastern suburb of Anshan, Qianshan is known as the “first mountain in the Northeast.” In the Xiuliantai Scenic Area in the northern part of Qianshan Mountain, a naturally formed giant Maitreya Buddha sits atop the peak and is a very spectacular sight.
