We tried this place for the first time in the spring at a food and wine festival and we knew we had to come to the restaurant to try it out. Some of the best service and by far some of the best food we have had! The Lamb Tartare and the Charcuterie boards are a must. Also the Potatas Bravas are spectacular! And for dessert, I highly suggest the Churros! A special thank you to Chefs Jeremiah and Matthew, we will definitely make the trip back from Charleston for dinner!

Gypsy Kitchen

The Southern Gentleman is part of the resurgence of Buckhead at the Shoppes of Buckhead. Located above the Shake Shack, SG is a lively energized fun spot with an excellent bar and a fresh and modern food menu. It sort of a &quot;foodie meets southern&quot; cooking experience with a truly fantastic bourbon collection. You can get trout, venison and quail. Every combination of a protein with grits, all really great. It&#39;s very farm to table oriented. If you are looking for a steak, this may not be the place I would suggest. I am sure that their $45 new york strip is fantastic, but it is the only steak-steak that I saw on the menu and there are lot of other choices on the menu that are more in the $15-$25 range that are more unique and original. The thing I like the most about this restaurant and the Shoppes of Buckhead is the proximity to many great restaurants and bars. If you like going to one place for a cocktail, another place for dinner and then another place for something after diner or some live music, this is a location worth trying. I won&#39;t mention the other spots. Just look at any google map and it will show you the other places that are within walking distance Parking can be an issue if you haven&#39;t been to the Shoppes of Buckhead. We did valet parking. Cost was $7 plus tip. It&#39;s worth it. I don&#39;t think this is a very good place to bring children. There isn&#39;t anything for them to do or to eat and the tables and to close to each other for kids to be running around. So leave them at home. Our service was great too. This place is fun. I will definitely go again.

Had a wonderful night at this bar restaurant. It was able to meet all my needs and didn&rsquo;t disappoint me at all. The restaurant is quiet, the music is very pleasant, the cocktails and food are delicious. In short, everything is perfect. If you want to have fun, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Went here while on holiday and was looking for somewhere other than the usual burger joint. As we walked in I quickly realised that the England v Australia and Holland v Ireland games were on big screen TVs. Perfect! The staff were all great, chatty and efficient. We both had Fish and Chips, my wife had a small version and I of course had the large, which meant I had two large pieces of fish! I wasn&#39;t that keen on going into a pub but this was excellent and I recommend to all.

Seafood the way it&rsquo;s supposed to taste. Fresh, prepared right and priced right. Service was smooth and professional. OpenTable reservations were honored at the correct time.

This place was spectacular. We had a last minute adjustment to the number of our party and they accommodated us perfectly with a great table out on the veranda. Our waiter was prompt and knowledgeable. We took advantage of the Tito&#39;s vodka promotion for several of our cocktails....nice to enjoy a drink and know that money had been donated as a result. Ordering was easy, the menu has tons of options. The food plates were all unique spices or presentations. All the plates got two thumbs up from all of us. We&#39;re certain to make a return trip. Crazy epilogue to this dinner was the opportunity to meet one of the owners and his wife the next day at a graduation party being thrown by my cousin. Needless to say we &quot;gushed&quot; about the experience!!!!

Cool decor, sexy ambiance, service is good but a little slow btwn drinks and Aps arriving. Grilled octopus was out of this world... Sea urchin deviled eggs were definitely different. Good, just different. Great drinks. Evil Eye and Spice Trader are favorites!

The place has a great atmosphere and good cocktails, but the food is not good at all. Twice I&#39;ve ordered the beef tenderloin skewers and both times it&#39;s been rare where I can see the ligaments in the meat. The second time I asked for it well done to make sure it wasn&#39;t like my first experience but they did it again. I wouldn&#39;t recommend the food.
