Shiretoko Peninsula

Luoyu Lake is a freshwater lake distributed at the foot of Zhixibieyue Mountain on Zhibed Peninsula. It is 740 meters above sea level, about 4 kilometers perimeter, and the maximum water depth is about 2 meters. It is the largest lake in Zhibed National Park. The area was blocked by trees and bears' dens, so it was once called an unreal lake that could not be approached. But now the mountaineering roads have been renovated and opened between June and October, so the general public can use them. In addition to Luoyu Lake, there are 5 marshes (one marshe) and Megu pear observation deck, where you can enjoy various beautiful scenery, such as snow in spring, new green in summer and red leaves in autumn. *Unfortunately, there is no road to the first marsh, so you can see the second marsh along the mountaineering road. Free admission.

This is a secret place in Hokkaido or all of Japan. The mountains and rivers are towering and snowy. The woods are green, the birds are fragrant, and there are many animals inhabiting it. A place to linger.

Zhibed Peninsula is in Daodong. This is a very cold attraction. After all, it is more time-consuming to come. Most people choose to come in winter. It may be related to everyone who likes to come to Hokkaido in winter, but we don’t have many people in summer, and the scenery is quite good.

Sea ice floes are fun. March's Zhibei weather is just right. Not too cold, but not too hot to melt the ice floe. We went to the local area and enrolled in a one-day group. The price is reasonable. The local guide is very responsible. It's just that guides can only speak Japanese --- in short, floating ice is a rare experience. Wearing special buoyancy clothes will not be cold in the ice at all!

When I decided to take the East route, I was attracted by the natural scenery and abundant activities of the Zhibei Peninsula. The Zhibei Peninsula has the geographical conditions near the sea, and has a large natural park. It is a good place to visit in spring, summer, autumn and winter. In winter, I chose to stay in the Zhibei Peninsula for two nights, and had a drifting ice walk and a snowscape walk in the Zhibei Park, which is very interesting. It's more interesting to regret not seeing small animals.

It is really a special experience to participate in the trek of Zhibed Wuhu in winter.
