Liu Yifei truly does not disappoint! Traveling in Abu Dhabi needs no filters!
Because of Liu Yifei, I started a trip to Abu Dhabi 🩵
This city left a very good impression on me—safe, with high public civility.
🌴 Abu Dhabi, a city wrapped in greenery, a kingdom that perfectly blends luxury and tranquility. Here you’ll find the most “lavish” museums and a fresh romance that Dubai doesn’t have. Come with me to unlock these magical spots! 🕌
✅【Must-Visit Attractions】
📍 Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
This pure white mosque is a landmark of Abu Dhabi and truly stunning. Female visitors must pay attention to the dress code: long pants or skirts and a headscarf covering the hair are required, otherwise entry is not allowed. It’s recommended to buy a suitable abaya online in advance or purchase one locally. The scenery is especially dreamy at sunset or when the lights come on at night.
📍 Abu Dhabi Ocean World
For just over 100 RMB per person, you can explore the ocean world! Here, you can see various adorable marine creatures like dolphins, sea lions, sharks, and more. At the ocean theater, you can watch dolphin shows and interact up close!
📍 Abu Dhabi Presidential Palace
Free admission! This was once the home of Sheikh Zayed, the founding father of the UAE, and is now a museum. Here, you can see many precious historical artifacts and artworks.
📍 Louvre Abu Dhabi
Known as the “Louvre on the Sea,” Louvre Abu Dhabi is the only museum in the world built on the water. Here, you can not only see various precious artworks but also enjoy the magical interplay of light and shadow!
📍 Abrahamic Family House
A very meaningful building composed of a mosque, a church, and a synagogue, all the same size, symbolizing equality and coexistence among the three major religions. Few people take photos here, and the light and shadow effects are excellent. The mosque dress code must be followed to enter.
📍 Qasr Al Hosn
The oldest stone building in Abu Dhabi, located in the CBD center, offering views of the blend of modern and traditional architecture. The palace is small but not crowded; tickets can be purchased on site.
🍱【Food Recommendations】
🔸 Al Khayma Heritage Restaurant 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Local specialty breakfast set, enough for two people. Most items come in portions of four, so if you want to try more dishes, four people can order this set and add some other main courses.
🔸 Pak Liyari Restaurant L.L.C (Br.) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
A local restaurant in the old town, full of locals as soon as you enter. This was our first meal in Dubai, arriving late at night when many menu items were sold out. It was so delicious we licked the plates, and the prices were very reasonable. (Bottled water is charged.)
🔸 AURA SKYPOOL Dubai 🌟🌟🌟🌟
A restaurant for enjoying the view. We thought the portions would be small but they were actually quite generous. Note: dining hours are from 12:00 to 14:00, and you can enter anytime during this period but must leave by 2 PM at the latest. We thought we would get two hours regardless of entry time, so we arrived at 1 PM, which made it a bit rushed.
💡【About Abu Dhabi and Dubai】
🔹 Abu Dhabi: As the capital, it is the political, economic, and cultural center, focusing more on long-term development and cultural heritage. It holds 90% of the UAE’s oil reserves.
🔹 Dubai: More like a vibrant “dream factory,” famous for building skyscrapers, shopping centers, and attracting tourists, with relatively higher prices.
🔖【Dress Code and Etiquette】
▪️ Daily wear: Abu Dhabi is hot with strong UV rays, so summer clothes are fine, but be sure to protect yourself from the sun with hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
▪️ Indoor temperature difference: Although it’s hot outside, malls, subways, and other indoor places have strong air conditioning, so it’s recommended to bring a light jacket or shawl to avoid catching a cold.
▪️ Religious sites: When visiting mosques (such as Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque), dress code is strict. Women must wear long pants or skirts, no shorts, short skirts, tight or transparent clothing, and cover hair and shoulders with a headscarf. Men cannot wear shorts or go shirtless.
▪️ Photo tips: Do not take photos of locals, especially Muslim women, without permission. Also avoid photographing government buildings, palaces, and other sensitive sites without authorization.
Following Liu Yifei to travel in Abu Dhabi is definitely an excellent choice!
Touch the gold for the New Year and welcome wealth and good luck~✨
