Hidden Gem in the City | Atlanta Botanical Garden.
The Atlanta Botanical Garden, a vast oasis, is proudly located in the heart of the bustling city of Atlanta, adjacent to the picturesque Piedmont Park, with a total area of up to 12 hectares. Since becoming a part of the city of Atlanta in 1976, the botanical garden has adhered to the lofty mission of "displaying the beauty of nature, enlightening education, guarding ecological responsibility, cultivating scientific research, and enjoying leisure", and is committed to the careful cultivation and extensive collection of plants.
As time goes by, horticultural treasures continue to bloom. In 1985, the iconic garden house made its debut. As the first permanent exhibition of the botanical garden, it has witnessed countless tourists' astonishment and love. Subsequently, in 1999, the magical children's garden specially designed for children was born, adding endless fun to parent-child time. The Fuqua Greenhouse, which was built in 1989, is a dazzling pearl in the botanical garden. The Orchid Center, which was expanded in 2002, makes this tropical style even more intense and makes people linger.
Since 2003, every summer, the Atlanta Botanical Garden has become a palace of creativity and surprises. A series of colorful temporary exhibitions are staged in turn, covering a wide range of botany. Each time brings an unprecedented visual feast, attracting explorers from all over the world.
Today, the Atlanta Botanical Garden has transformed into a comprehensive palace integrating natural beauty, popular science education, and leisure and entertainment. Here, the specialty gardens are vying for beauty, the highland sparse forests are quiet and deep, the children's garden is full of laughter, the tropical greenhouse is full of strange flowers and weeds, and there are a variety of teaching programs, so that every friend who steps into this green space can gain a lot of knowledge and touch. For you who love nature and photography, this is undoubtedly an excellent place to record beauty and leave memories.

It's a big park, but not crowded. It seems that there are few attractions that are crowded, probably except Disney. There are many kinds of plants in the park. It's interesting to walk around whether you know them or not.
Lots of plants to see and the flowers are so beautiful! The tulips were in bloom and the arrangement was spectacular, it felt like there was plenty to do and the kids area could have kept them occupied for hours. The lily garden was the highlight for me, there were so many varieties of lilies, only I have a green thumb!! We got two free adult tickets with our Bok Tower tickets!
tha ABG is a fantastic place where to spend relaxing time by yourself, with your lover or with family, you will be surrounded by beautiful plants and green sculptures
A very comfortable yard, not too big, two hours is enough to play. March and April should be the time when there are the most flowers. I went there at the end of April, and some flowers were already withered. There are green trees inside, and it is very comfortable to walk under the shade. It is a bit hot at noon. It is suitable for people who like quietness.
