Fountains Square

The fountain square is located on the east side of the intersection of Independence Avenue and Azerbaijan Avenue in the center of Baku, just outside the northeast corner of Baku Old Town. The greening of the fountain square is one of the best in the Transcaucasian Capital Square. The square is quite large and there are more than ten groups of fountains throughout the square. The hotel we stayed in was nearby and it was also the only way to go to the old town.

The wind stopped, the rain stopped, it is the most pure feeling in Baku, visiting the city of Baku, it is immersive and lingering. There are also high-rise buildings here, but the prices are not high, suitable for tourism.

The capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, means “city hit by the wind,” and you can feel the strong wind here early in the morning, blowing leaves shaking, overwhelmed.

We then walked to the Fountain Square not far from the neighborhood, the center of which is a full-body statue of historical figures and a large step fountain pool without spraying water, and the surrounding area of the square is full of classic and famous buildings such as the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences and the Azerbaijan Literature Museum. The area is connected to each other in the square and there are several small fountain pools of different shapes, and the square is surrounded by restaurants and bars.
