Ubud became one of my favorite places in Bali because the atmosphere here feels completely different from the busy beach areas. I spent time walking through the city, visiting local temples, exploring the famous Monkey Forest, relaxing in small cafes, and seeing the beautiful rice terraces around Ubud. One of the most unforgettable moments was walking through the Tegallalang Rice Terraces early in the morning when the jungle and palm trees were covered in soft sunlight. The Monkey Forest was also very interesting because the monkeys move freely around ancient temple ruins and tropical jungle paths.I recommend staying in Ubud for at least a few days to fully experience the local culture and peaceful atmosphere. There are many cozy cafes with jungle views, traditional Balinese restaurants, yoga studios, markets, and hidden streets worth exploring. Renting a scooter is a convenient way to visit nearby waterfalls, temples, and rice fields.Ubud is a perfect place for people who want nature, culture, relaxation, and a more authentic side of Bali away from crowded tourist beaches.
