It was a good experience, the view was outstanding and we didn’t get any queue to go up. I just think the price is quite high just for using an elevator and don’t receive even a small gift. Overall it is worth for the view of Bangkok and the walk in the glass and also the kindness of the staff.
I loved the view. Opens at 10am sharp. There are two security check points. You cannot bring any form of food inside. If you have big bags, there are lockers provided for storage. The cost to enter was worth it. You cannot bring tripods in so for me as a solo traveler I had to ask strangers to help me take photos. On the sky walk, phones are not allowed. Honestly I think there are too many restrictions and it was hard to get the perfect picture. But still a good experience.
Overall it is good, but the management feels not very good, there is no place to remind us that we can not bring two small bags up, when I said to put one of the small bags in the other, they immediately said that the umbrella can not be brought! The plane can be brought, basically it is hard to go to store a small baby, usually forget it, because there is still a boat that day, it will take more time to go down and go to the bag, but there is no way. . . The 78-story view is good, the glass floor experience is also very good, management can keep up with the hardware, it will be a good place to play.
what an amazing building! we couldn’t believe our eyes. the cost to access the sky terrace was reasonable and well worth the cost! great eateries as well
This is the coolest building I have ever seen. The pixelated design and immensity of the tower is just jaw-dropping. There’s a rooftop deck with a clear glass bottomed sky walk that you can buy tickets for in the lobby (about 1,000 baht per person or about $30 USD). The views of Bangkok from the top of the tower are spectacular and the sky walk was really cool (although a bit terrifying). Gotta give props to those people popping around on that thing with no fear lol.
Buying the tickets in advance is the best option before entering the tower. But the tickets are available on site. The staff are nice and kind.
The MahaNakhon skyscraper, erected in Bangkok in 2016, was the tallest building in Thailand for two years, until the palm was intercepted by the Magnolias Waterfront Residences IconSiam condominium, which turned out to be only a meter taller. However, the Mahanakhon SkyWalk observation deck, located at 314 m above the ground, remains the main urban point of all-round view. The MahaNakhon Tower attracts the eye with its futuristic appearance. A high-rise building looks as if a three-dimensional three-dimensional image has begun to disintegrate into pixels. Translucent facades enhance the illusion of pixelation, giving the object an additional resemblance to a hologram. A separate high-speed elevator (22 in total) is designed to climb to the 74th floor, where the Indoor Observation Area is located. Movement takes place in 50 seconds, the speed reaches 8 m / s. As soon as the door closes, the walls and ceiling of the cabin turn into a screen showing a video sequence of the main attractions of Bangkok. The broadcast is accompanied by sound special effects.
King Power Mahanakhon is a prominent skyscraper in Bangkok, Thailand. Standing at 314 meters, it is one of the tallest buildings in the country. The tower features a distinctive pixelated design and offers luxury residences, the five-star Bangkok Edition Hotel, and retail spaces. A major highlight is the Mahanakhon SkyWalk, which includes an observation deck on the 78th floor with stunning 360-degree views of the city and a glass floor for a thrilling experience.
