When I visited the Wat Arun Ratchawaram temple, I found myself at one of the major pilgrimage sites in Bangkok, Thailand. Known for its unique beauty and outstanding artistic design, this temple is one of the most famous in the country. The temple scene was truly amazing. It draws the attention of visitors because of the main tower that rises over 70 meters high, a symbol of Bangkok. The tower is decorated with stained glass, mosaics, and exquisite bas-reliefs, adding great beauty to the temple.

If you go to Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, you can experience traditional costumes for around 200 baht and get some pretty life shots! It's so hot that I recommend you try it early in the morning or after 3pm! We visited after 3pm~ Colors are bright and vivid primary colors that take better pictures than pastel colors! Wat Arun is one of my favorite temples in Bangkok. Last time I took photos alone, I said I wanted to take photos with my daughter. I didn't expect to meet her in Thailand so soon. It feels a bit magical. Anyway, today I'm going to share with you some tips for taking photos with kids at Wat Arun, including photo spots and Thai costume rental tips. . 🏷️Thai Costume Rental Last time I rented a costume at the temple pier entrance. It cost 300 baht until 5 pm. The price was cheap, but the quality of the clothes was average, the changing environment was not good, and I couldn't take photos of the sunset because I had to return the clothes by 5 pm. This time I went to Sense of Thai with my daughter. I made a reservation in advance, so I didn't have to wait. Their Thai costumes are quite fairy-like. If you like macaron colors, you can consider them. Dudu chose her own clothes, and I matched her outfit. The disadvantage of these two places is that they don't include makeup and hair styling. In fact, hair styling is quite important, so you can look for more places. . 🏷️Photo Tips: ▪️The recommended shooting time is two hours before sunset. The light is very soft at this time, which is very suitable for taking backlit photos of "glowing girls" with a full atmosphere. ▪️The recent sunset is at 6:30 pm. If the weather is good, be sure to go out before closing time to take photos of the sunset. ▪️Photo Spots: It's not easy to find photo spots when taking photos with kids because they are relatively short. It's nice to take photos on the stairs. ▪️Camera: Sony A7R4+55 F1.8 and iPhone My photos were taken by my husband. Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan, commonly known as Wat Arun, is an ancient temple built during the Ayutthaya period, originally named Wat Chaeng. It attracts a large number of Thai and foreign visitors. It is a beautiful, ancient place with many spots for taking photos. For those who want to rent traditional Thai costumes for beautiful, retro-style photos, there are many rental shops in front of Wat Arun offering a variety of styles at rental prices ranging from 150-200 baht. Parking is quite limited, but you definitely won't be disappointed. Open every Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00.

If you are effective over time, all three sites can be seen in one day because they are very close to each other. You can cross the river by ferry which is very interesting in itself, then the temple itself is incredibly beautiful and well preserved, in perfect condition and bright colors. Not as big as other large temple sites, this can be seen in about an hour (not including boat trip)

I took my time to enjoy the splendor of the design and decoration alone. I explored the halls and arcades and carefully contemplated the details. We went around 17:00 and it was too hot so we stayed indoors, but thanks to the friendly staff, we moved to the rooftop where we could see Wat Arun right away in the evening!!
