🎀This exquisite and elegant building, like a dreamlike palace, is actually a world heritage music hall.
🎀This exquisite and elegant building, like a dreamy palace, is actually a music hall built a hundred years ago!
📍Located in a small alley in the Sant Pere district of Barcelona, Spain, this building is the Palau de la Música Catalana, although the narrow alley makes it difficult to see the entire exterior of the music palace, the sense of mystery adds to its charm.
💖This building, created by modernist architect Domènech i Montaner, with an extremely gorgeous and complex appearance, was built between 1905 and 1908. In 1997, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Today, it is an important milestone in Catalonia's culture and social life, and a source of pride for the Spanish people.
🎉Although the music hall was built over a hundred years ago, it is still in use today. Over 300 world-class concerts are held here every year, almost every day there is a concert, and hundreds of thousands of people visit. After making an appointment, Hua Hua followed an official standard itinerary to visit the hall and was lucky enough to meet the orchestra rehearsing!
🎼The architectural style of the Music Palace combines traditional Spanish and Arabic styles, and brings together all decorative arts: sculpture, mosaic, stained glass, glazed ceramics and iron products, combined with natural light, elements of nature such as flowers, fruits and animals, sculptures of mythological figures and famous musicians, presenting a brilliant and dazzling artistic effect.
💛The largest music hall is designed around a central metal structure covered with glass. Natural light pours down from the colorful glass dome shaped like stalactites, creating a dazzling array of colors. The entire hall is like a magical music box, and it is also the only music hall in Europe that uses natural light for illumination during the day. The columns supporting the ceiling are modeled after palm trees, and the chandeliers on the columns are the flowers and fruits of the palm trees.
⭐️On one side of the music hall stage is a bust of Anselm Clavé, and on the other side is a bust of Beethoven. The wall under the giant organ behind the stage is carved with statues of 18 muses, and every visible area is like a masterpiece of art.
🌟Another double-columned gallery that is more than just a check-in spot is the fairytale-like balcony, decorated with gorgeous, bright, and colorful mosaics. Only a romantic architect could have designed such a masterpiece!
🌹It is said that the roof, facade, stone pillars, glass, sculptures, and more than 2,000 roses are decorated in the Music Palace. When you come to Barcelona, Spain, don't forget to come and find the flowers!
Although the music palace is not big, every place is exquisitely carved, a must-see place to understand the architecture and music of Basse. Tickets for the music palace must be booked one day in advance to book the time point of the full Chinese interpretation. The day is basically Spanish and English. Without explanation, there is basically nothing to see at this site.
A very local performance, the Catalan Music Palace is beautiful, but the performance of the guitar plays more than the dance performance, and the guitar play the track is basically melodic, sounds very rhythmic, but not beautiful. Overall a good way to experience the art life of locals, recommend trying it out.
Worth a look! We went to have Chinese explanations, just catching up with the program, and sat in it for a while to watch. The artistic atmosphere in the music palace is strong, there are reliefs, and some paintings are beautiful! This art palace was first used for workers to entertain themselves after work and be close to life.
