Patrick_steihad a wonderful experience on the Palace Museum small group in-depth tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English, which made it easy to follow along and appreciate the rich history of the Forbidden City. The meeting point was easy to find, and everything was well organized from start to finish.The Forbidden City itself is an incredible place to visit — full of culture, stories, and beautiful architecture. It was quite busy and very cold on the day of my visit, but the sun was shining, which made it even more enjoyable. Overall, I really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Beijing and wanting a deeper understanding of this historic site.

Climbing to the highest beacon tower of the Badaling Great Wall, one can gaze into the distance and see the winding Great Wall, like a giant dragon soaring through the mountains and valleys, stretching towards the distant horizon. The fortresses stand one after another, section after section of wall, seemingly endless and vast. Seeing such a majestic and awe-inspiring sight evokes a surge of national pride._TI***g4Food is very expensive other then that everything was greatKarlos88Very well worth a visit BUT can be a pain in the butt to get tickets as they have low support for foreigners passports, English and need to use Wechat Mini Apps. Best and easiest way to get tickets as a foreigner is via Trip.com when they do tickets, sometimes they just point you to wechat mini app. In which case, not much you can do. There is a real crown in the basement which people line up to take photos of and was a crazy highlight of the visit. As well as artefacts from when New China was established. The signage and closure of many exhibits was a bit disappointing though, especially when you travelled far and wide. The mansion is shaded by lush trees, and the shimmering lake reflects the graceful silhouettes of the ancient buildings. Walking on the stone-paved paths feels like stepping back in time, experiencing the past glory and prosperity. This is not only a historical site but also a beautiful painting, making it a place one longs to return to.Daily happinessA very cosy and chilling park. Recommend to go in the morning to take a stroll and enjoy the different venues in the park other than the three hot spots. The famous West Causeway is lined with many flowers, mostly peach blossoms, plum blossoms, and also forsythia and winter jasmine.
Willows are the most abundant tree species on the West Causeway of the Summer Palace. Their graceful forms, swaying in the wind, add a unique charm to the Summer Palace.
If you enter the Summer Palace through the South Ruyi Gate and stroll along the lakeside, you'll find that the drooping branches of the willows occasionally obstruct your view, as if playing a joke on you, forcing you to find gaps to focus on the Fragrant Buddha Pavilion and the Seventeen-Arch Bridge on Longevity Hill._TI***mdDid the Mutianyu + Summer Palace tour last week—loved the logistics!Pickup at Regent Hotel (Dengshikou Line 5 Exit C) was super easy at 7:30am. 4 quiet hours at Mutianyu, 3 guided at Summer Palace, then drop-off at the Bird’s Nest (great for post-tour plans).Included bus/guide/tickets; extras (cable car) were simple to add. Perfect 10hr Beijing day—highly recommend!

老少皆宜（）Shichahai Scenic Area in Beijing is a free tourist attraction. It's located opposite the North Gate of Beihai Park; simply cross the street after exiting the North Gate of Beihai Park to reach Shichahai.
Shichahai used to be Beijing's outdoor swimming pool in the summer and an ice skating rink in the winter, as depicted in some TV dramas. The Shichahai Sports School is located nearby.
Shichahai Scenic Area offers many Beijing specialties, including several long-established restaurants where visitors can sample local delicacies.
