Jingshan Park is situated on the central axis of old Beijing. It was an imperial garden during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The park's central peak was once the highest point of the old city. The building at its summit, called the Wanchun Pavilion, is must-see for visitors to Jingshan Park. From here you can enjoy views of the whole of the center of Beijing, and photograph the whole of the Forbidden City. This is also where the last emperor of the Ming dynasty, the Chongzhen Emperor, committed suicide by hanging.

This time our destination is Beijing, the capital of The People's Republic of China, the autonomous city, the heart of Chinese culture. We are in Jing Shan Park which is also known as emperor summer residence. This park and visitors area could be subdivided into several parts. One of them is a gallery with exposition of ancient Chinese painting. Now we are in this gallery where the paintings of several dynasties are presented to be studied, including Qing dynasty.
景山公园 or Jing Shan Park ,aka Emperor summer residence. Beijing. And it is located straight in front of Forbidden City gates, just need to across the road and you are in this beautiful park. Jing Shan Park or Jing Mountain Park is especially charming during the summer. The visit will require about two hours to walk slowly around and to climb the hill. At the top is located the observation pavilion giving magnificent view on the surroundings. Definitely should be visited.
Jingshan Park Tour Guide|
After entering from Jingshan Park, before climbing, I saw some old grandparents singing, three or two groups, saying that this is the place where old Beijingers exercise and relax. It is not empty, people can be seen lying on the big stones to rest and sleep.
Because it is a small road, there are very few people, the steps are very steep, and when you go back a few steps, you will be exclaimed when you look back: It is so beautiful. The style of Beijing is hidden in layers of leaves, beautiful. Just walking aimlessly, I went to Wan Chunting. I heard that it was the highest point of Beijing City and overlooked the Forbidden City.
Here you can clearly see the words of the Forbidden City Museum. You can see the entire Forbidden City. You can see the lake in the Beihai Park. You can see more than half of the Beijing city and look wide. It can be said that the station is high and far away.
I think the essence of Jingshan Park is to look at the leisure life of the old Beijingers in the mountains and go to the mountains overlooking Beijing. Tickets for two dollars, spend two or three hours leisurely. Jingshan Park is definitely the most underrated Beijing attraction.
Beijing during the National Day | On the occasion of the birth of the motherland, the Jingshan Park and Beihai Park were punched, and the red flags were everywhere, and the flowers were full of festive colors. If you don't go to the scenic spot in Beijing, you can see different scenery in the process of walking the streets. Many people think that the pace of life in Beijing is too fast, and it is only in the hutong that they can feel a little comfort. The dream of being a traveler is to travel around the world, but the world is big, but there is only one in China! I love my motherland, bless my motherland, happy birthday!
