The old law church was originally called the Seven True Temple, which was dedicated to the Seven Sons of the Seven True Temple. The king Changyue Taoist priests of the Qing Dynasty used to preach the law and open the altar to teach the commandment. The later generations changed the Seven True Temple to the "Old Law Hall", which is the hall of the teaching of the commandment. The building area of the old law hall is large. Sooner or later, the Taoists will come here to chante, and every Taoist festival, there is a altar to hold the Zhaiyu Fahui, which is the most lively place in the Baiyun view. There are many people praying for incense here, cigarettes lingering, and the mist is empty.

The old law hall, formerly known as the Qizhen Temple, is located behind the Jade Emperor Palace, the main place for religious activities of the Taoists in the Guannei. The hall is three rooms wide, with buildings connected and the platform is out. The seven statues of disciples of the ancestor of Quanzhen Dao, Wang Chongyang, are worshipped in the hall. The temple is hung on the beams of Kangxi Yushu "Jianzhen Court". The bronze statue on the right side of the platform outside the hall is a ride, which was originally the object of Dongyue Temple. It is moved here.
The old law hall, built in Ming Jingtai seven years (1456) Qing Kangxi first year (1662), reconstructed, gave the "Seven True Guangdian", Kangxi 45 years (1706) changed its name to "Seven True Hall", because the abbots of the Qing Dynasty were here to preach the commandment (the abbot was called "lawyer") so changed to "old law hall".
