Several piers in Bergen are very distinctive. There are many sculptures related to the sea in Bryggen Pier. The red houses on both sides of the pier look very old. However, what attracts me most is the fish market. Feast on all kinds of seafood!
In the oldest area of Bergen, the famous tourist destination Bryggen Pier, colorful wooden houses are connected in a row, like walking into a fairy tale world. The clinking of beer glasses on the street and the smell of afternoon tea, and the various wooden boats with masts on the canal made me fall in love with this town
The day before was cloudy and rainy, and the bright colors were covered with gray gauze. The sun is really the best assist in the filming, even the fool machine can be bright and clear. When we came, there were several houses on the wharf under repair. I admired the European "construction site". They were covered with a spray painting like the original building. From a distance, there was no sense of disobedience. The inside should be repaired or demolished. Does not affect the outlook. Bryggen means "pier, dock" in Norwegian, and it is a series of Hanseatic League commercial buildings. Although Bergen was established around 1070, Bryggen is also one of the oldest parts of it, but because most of it is made of wooden structures, it has been repeatedly fired afterwards. Most of the buildings currently seen were built three hundred years after 1702. Of course, some of the stone basements are historical relics from the 15th century. In 1955, part of the building was once again destroyed in the fire, and in 1978 people built the Bryggen Museum on the ruins. Bryggen was listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1979.
Hainesetic Pier is well worth a visit. But we walked past the old wharf building to the cobblestone street behind. This place has a quaint feel and is very interesting. This area is a residential area. So there are no tourist shops.
The wharf is very interesting and has a medieval feel. The old houses of different colors and the small shops along the street can still be rewarded.
