Bryggen, the old port of Bergen, was an important trading post in the Middle Ages (the Hanseatic era). The area was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979. It includes 13 places and 61 architectural monuments. The dock area is the most visited in Norway. The typical Scandinavian-style herringbone houseboat is painted with bright paint, which is very distinctive and worth visiting~
The colorful human-shaped houses in Bergen are the biggest urban feature of the city. On the calm riverside, these humanoid houses and their reflections in the water are simply beautiful. I feel that this trip is worthwhile.
Bergen’s Brigan hostage is the most typical Nordic architecture. In fact, he has a herringbone roof. The brick and wood houses are connected together like waves. Looking from the sea to Brigham Pier, the rows of herringbone houses, and with a variety of different colors, are really very beautiful and definitely worth taking pictures.
A classic Norwegian architecture and tourist attraction, the Bergen House is located in the north of Bergen. As a representative of medieval Norwegian architecture, it is listed as a world cultural heritage. The Bryggen House is located on the side of the road between the pier and the old town, across the road from the bay. The most popular of these houses are postcards from all over the world, which are very worthwhile play.
Along the road by the sea, through the dedicated cruise ship terminal, walk several hundred meters to the famous Bryggen Pier. On one side of Bryggen is the pier, and on the other side is the iconic building complex of Bergen-Herringbone House, which of course is the Chinese name. In fact, in the snowy places in northern Europe, buildings with large angled roofs can be seen everywhere, mainly to prevent snow from accumulating in winter and preventing snow from crushing houses. The herringbone house is a part of the periphery of the old city along the side of the pier. It is currently mainly used for commercial purposes. There are duty-free shops or tourist souvenir shops.
