"We had a wonderful day yesterday at Stone Mountain Park. It was a super nice day out and the temperature was just right. We walked around the lake and around the monument. It’s very peaceful here when it’s not so crowded and not so hot. I highly recommend going during the fall as you are in cooler weather and beautiful colors. I am not sure if the rides and all for the kids are open this timeIf the year, as we didn’t walk into that area. But walking around and even kayaking is good this time of year.. as long as you don’t tip over! But walking around is great and exercise. And a great place to see a national park and experience the beauty of the park. We didn’t hike up the mountain, but this would be a great time of year to do it. It’s pay by car and not person to enter. Not sure of price, but you can find this on the website. Beautiful park. And clean."
