Built in 1876, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts is a museum built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the United States. The famous architect, Pei Ming, participated in the design of the West Pavilion during the expansion of the museum. This is one of the world's most magnificent museums, and is famous for the French Louvre and the Metropolitan Museum of the United States. The Boston Museum of Fine Arts is famous for collecting Chinese artifacts and East Asian art. There are more than a thousand Chinese paintings, as well as countless precious pottery and Buddha sculptures.
