The Old North Church in Boston, is the oldest standing church. It has a very rich history and as well as a stunning physical presentation. The church is most famous of the events of April 18, 1775, when Robert Newman climbed the church steeple and held two lanterns; a signal from Paul Revere that the British were approaching by land rather that by sea. Inside the church, there is a most beautiful innovative works are available, that has many fine artifacts including ornate antique chandeliers and a massive organ. This church has the very oldest bells in North America. These bells were hung in 1745 and still ring with vigor on every Saturday mornings.
