Visiting Budapest’s thermal baths was one of the best experiences of my trip. The city is famous for its healing waters, and I highly recommend spending a day at Széchenyi or Gellért Baths. During our trip to Budapest, my mum and I visited Széchenyi Thermal Bath, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Nestled in City Park (Városliget), this historic spa is one of the largest and most famous thermal baths in Europe, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation.From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the stunning Neo-Baroque architecture. The grand yellow buildings, elegant domes, and intricate details give Széchenyi a royal feel. Inside, there’s a maze of indoor pools, saunas, and steam rooms, but the highlight is definitely the massive outdoor pools. Even in winter, the contrast between the warm thermal waters and the crisp air makes for a magical experience.The mineral-rich thermal water felt incredibly soothing, and we could instantly feel its healing properties. The water temperature varies, with pools ranging from 26°C to 40°C (79°F to 104°F). We loved floating in the warm waters, especially in the outdoor pool with bubbling jets.

The electronic version of the ticket email could not be opened because the format received on the mobile phone could not be opened. I contacted the customer service and got a screenshot. There is a corner counter on the right hand side of the entrance to the site for scanning the code. After scanning the code successfully, a yellow wrist card will be given. After entering, there is a special locker entrance. After asking the staff, go downstairs to enter the women's locker room. There are many locker rooms. Use the hand card to scan any locker. When the locker is empty, press the slider to open it. When it is locked, scan it again and press the slider to off. Bring your own swimsuit, bath towel, slippers and toiletries. If you don't bring them, you can rent them (rent in the locker room, and the rental deposit must be in cash) or buy them (at the entrance). Very gorgeous bathing place. There are two parts, outdoor and indoor, outdoor swimming pool and large hot spring pool, many small hot spring pools and sauna rooms in the room. There are also restaurants and valuables storage cabinets, and free drinking water everywhere. The locker room also has a simple dryer to dry swimsuits, equipped with a hair dryer.

The most popular thermal bath in Europe with beautiful architecture. Pleasure is to bathe in outside thermal pool and with the view. Inside is not special for place like this.
