Thirst of all I would like to recommend to visit the central street of the city named July 9 avenue. This is the biggest street in the world. Also you can find many sightseeings here. There are Teatro Colon, Congreso de la Nation, Botanical Garden, El Ateneo Grand Splendid and Obelisco. There are many beautiful authentic buildings. I visit the eclectic area of La Boca, the eccentric Recoleta cemetery and enjoy a relaxing boat ride in the beautiful area of Tigre to name just a few things. The first thing we did upon arrival was take a walk in the city centre to take in some of the main sights and the architecture, which is very European in nature. Checking out Teatro Colon, it’s clear that’s it an architectural masterpiece. It’s been described as being one of the 5 best concert halls in the world thanks to its outstanding acoustics. Tours are available inside the theatre, though we didn’t go in. I’d love to go back though when a concert is on! We then moved on to the national monument of Argentina - the obelisk! Constructed in 1936 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the first foundation of the city, this truly is the icon of Buenos Aires.
