If you are looking for a good place to relax around Vancouver, Deer Lake Park in Burnaby is definitely worth a visit! It is like a paradise in the city, with beautiful lakes and mountains. There is a flat wooden boardwalk around the lake, which is perfect for walking, jogging, or enjoying nature with children and pets. The lake is sparkling, seagulls and mallards are playing in the water, and snow-capped mountains are looming in the distance. The park is free, the lawn is suitable for picnics, and kayaks can be rented on the lake. In spring, flowers are in full bloom, rhododendrons are particularly romantic, and outdoor concerts in summer are even more lively. Especially in autumn, Deer Lake is even more beautiful, and it is a great place to enjoy maple leaves around Vancouver. Parking at Deer Lake is also very convenient, highly recommended!

Burnaby's city lake is full of scenery and is a natural oxygen bar suitable for hiking. In early autumn in September, the leaves begin to turn red, various plants and flowers, squirrels are busy foraging, geese are leisurely basking in the sun, and mallards are playing in groups.
Deer Lake Park Great 👍 The Park is located at Burnaby, Vancouver. It is a very beautiful and peaceful place. There are birds, ducks, and goose swimming around the lake. You can walk around there with your lovely dogs and enjoy a nice and happy with them 😊
Burnaby is a city in western Canada east of Vancouver. The city's population is the third largest in British Columbia, after Vancouver and nearby Surrey. Deer Lake Park is a large park and green space in downtown Burnaby.
This is my second time in Vancouver. The first time I came, I visited all the important attractions in Vancouver, such as Canada Place, Stanley Park, Vancouver Chinatown, Media Town, etc. However, I did not visit the secondary attractions such as Central Park and Deer Lake Park. The second time I came, I had to visit them. Today is Saturday. I took bus No. 144 in Metro Town and got off at Deer Lake Park Station (can be Canada Way Station or the next station). When the bus was broadcasting, it would broadcast the station and then Deer Lake Park Station (Deer Lake Park). However, the bus showed that there was no Deer Lake Park Station in these two stations. It seems that there is Deer Lake Park in the next station, but you can get off at the two stations mentioned. Deer Lake Park is really worth a visit. It is free of charge. Today is Saturday, but there are not many people visiting, let alone on normal days. Most of the tourists I met spoke Chinese. Although they are now Canadian citizens, some are first-generation, some are second-generation or third-generation, but they speak Mandarin or Cantonese. The second most tourists spoke Korean. Although I couldn't understand what they said, I could tell that they were speaking Korean. Today is June 15, 2019 (Canada time), the sun is shining, the breeze is light, and the weather is very suitable for playing. There are theaters, art galleries, and private properties in the park. The park is very large, with green trees, birds singing, flowers blooming, and beautiful grass. There are flocks of geese on these beautiful grasses, and the geese eat the grass on the grass. The most distinctive feature of the park is the lake. The lake water is so clean that you doubt your life, and the lake water is very flat, without waves, like a huge flat mirror. A large area of the lake is lotus, which is blooming! It was the first time I saw such a large area of lotus, and it was really shocking! It's so beautiful, really beautiful. You can rent a boat to row in the lake. I looked at the price, which is not expensive, only 20 Canadian dollars. Because I was alone, I didn't row a boat, but I heard that rowing in Deer Lake is a kind of enjoyment. There is also a wild blowing area in the park, which is really perfect. Tour groups usually rarely come to the main place, but it's okay if you travel independently. The main tourists in this park are locals.
This is the first place my friend took me after I got off the plane to Vancouver (and then put down my baggage at my friend's house). It's really a good place to stretch out and breathe fresh air. It's peaceful, beautiful and comfortable. When you walk in the park path and enjoy all kinds of waterbirds, you will forget that the park is in the center of the city, too quiet.
We spent about 35 minutes by the lake. There are many ducks and fish in the lake. I saw a lot of people fishing with fishing rods, and there were canoes at one end of the lake for rent. It's very quiet, suitable for walking or running, and there are swings for children to play.
