Mekong Delta traditional boat trip
Today, let me share with you my experiences on my first trip.com tour! It cost only £20 and visited the main sights in the Mekong Delta region, focusing on local experiences.
*The tour itinerary*
From Ho Chi Minh City we headed out to My Tho to explore a temple and pagoda complex. Then, we went to a small bee farm to try local honey tea. After this, we enjoyed a short traditional music show from local villagers, accompanied by delicious tropical fruits. Finally, a short trip down a narrow river on traditional wooden boats, before ending at a coconut candy shop to purchase local gifts and learn about the manufacturing process.
*Top tips*
To make the most of your Mekong Delta tour, I recommend:
- Travel alone: a group tour is a great way to meet new people from all around the world.
- Bring plenty of suncream and water: the weather was very hot, and these were not provided by the tour.
- Bring money for gifts: you can purchase gifts made from local honey, coconut and wood, which make excellent souvenirs or presents for friends back home.

if you are interested to the culture of Vietnam, mekong delta is a place you must visit, amazing trip to visit can tho and my tho, and spend time on the mekong River cruise and floating market is also one of the important part to know more about the local market.
the good thing about this trip is that it's cheap and meals included.. it was a full day tour. every stop you go, there's an activity to participate and meals were provided for each place you stop. really worth the money. you all should try. the experience will be a memorable one..
Mekong River Delta Tour is a must-see place when you’re in HCM! That was the best part during our trip in Saigon. The views are stunning! We had a chance to observe the coconut candy making, try the snake wine, drive the boat, try real chocolate and take a picture with a snake. I definitely will recommend it to my friends.
Amazing place to visit between Phoenix Island and Unicorn Island, Phoenix is the better place to buy souvenirs and products while Unicorn is where you get to see Live performances, buy bee products and float through those infamous water palm canals. Recommend coming on afternoon tours if you're not staying in the area.
We take part in the one-day tour of New Coffee Meidi and Pengzhi. The tour fee is very cheap. It's 60 yuan. So it's not surprising that we have some shopping items while visiting the traditional workshop. But we can rest assured that we can never buy and sell by force. The experience is not bad. And the arrangement is very compact and fancy. We come to the Mekong River by bus and enter the village by boat. We go through a large area of banana forest to see rice paper and coconut cake making. We go to another place for lunch by boat (the highlight is fried elephant earfish). Then we go to a honey workshop, Vietnamese music performance, and taste melons and fruits by carriage. Then we change boats and walk through the finer waterways and denser forests. Look at the traditional process of making coconut candy. Finally, return to the ship and bus to Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam 🌴 Mekong River Tour This is a recommended sightseeing tour that you definitely want to go to when you come to Ho Chi Minh. The tour I participated in was 250k and about 1400 yen in Japanese yen. Take a bus in Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong River! Take a boat down the Mekong River and land on a small island. There were bananas and hechima trees, and it was an atmosphere that felt Southeast Asia. I drank coconut water there, and it was sweet and very, very delicious 😍🥥 I also ridden a kayak, but there I only rent Vietnamese hat non-rah, so It looks great in the photo ✨ There is also lunch at the restaurant, but this was ok. It was a dish of wrapping baked fish in rice paper and eating. It's a very nice place to taste the Vietnamese feeling!
