Other visitors' reviews of Carmel-By-The-Sea
Show More ReviewsBacked by the hillside, facing the blue sea, with fine white sandy beaches, canopies of trees and flowers, the artistic Carmel is more spacious than the exquisite towns in Europe. Bohemian style architecture, a place where artists gather, Zhang Daqian also lived here, a coastal town with only more than 4,000 residents, life is too comfortable. Cliffs on the left hand and the Pacific Ocean on the right hand. In August 2016, I drove along California Highway 1 and stayed in Carmel Town for 2 days at the famous 17 Mile Road. It was the best memory of my first overseas self-driving tour.
