I don’t know if the monastery can be equated with the church. We don’t have these beliefs and don’t understand it very well. This place is inside the castle. You can see that there are not many tourists walking all the way through the red door of the castle.

The monastery is close to the castle, and the appearance is so low-key, it is Baroque architectural style. The surrounding greenery is well done. There are a few big trees that look like century-old trees. They are very big and stout. They are not popular attractions.
Among the magnificent red roofs of Cesky Krumlov, I looked for it carefully. There was a red spire, as if wearing a red hat on the white tower. This was the Franciscan monastery. It was built in 1350 by the order of Peter I, the ruler of Cesky Krumlov, and closed in 1782 by Joseph II of the Habsburg dynasty. It was opened to the public after being restored in 2015.
Český Krumlov-Franciscan monastery The Franciscan monastery is a very powerful and wealthy organization. The St. Vitus Cathedral is located on the highest mountain in the center of the town and is a place of worship for the residents of the town!
The Franciscan monastery was built in the 14th century, and the entire monastery is known for its extraordinary baroque appearance. The striking Baroque gate also shows its heavy sense of history and the solemnity of the church. Behind the monastery house is a large courtyard with a red roof and thick trees around it, which is very quiet. The rich and gorgeous murals and oil paintings on the walls are also worth watching.
