It was fascinating to visit this beautiful site and learn about the famous irrigation system. The park was clean and immaculately cared for. We took the shuttle bus out to see the further sections of the irrigation system. We hired a private tour guide to assist us and found him to be knowledgeable and helpful in that he took care of the purchase of tickets & helping us navigate the park. We entered the scenic spot from Qinyulou, and we visited from top to bottom (the route is strongly recommended). The scenic spot is not big, 3 hours is enough. Special reminder, from Xipu to Dujiangyan to buy high-speed rail tickets, remember to leave Dui Park Station, about 1 km from the gate of the scenic spot after leaving the station. The second choice is Dujiangyan Station, which is about 7 kilometers away from the scenic spot.
