At an altitude of 3,000m, surrounded by misty clouds and mountains, it feels like a fairyland. Wild Homestay: A secluded paradise with Chinese-style courtyards, forest coverage, and a yard so large it feels like an estate. It's a rustic mountain retreat built with gray tiles, brick, and wood. The most delightful surprise of this trip was staying at the Tibetan-style wooden hotel - Jiuzhaigou Yiqiu Secret Resort 🏨 About 30 minutes' drive along winding mountain roads from the base (though the road is winding, it's totally worth it!), it's like entering a secluded paradise. Upon arrival, you're immersed in rich Tibetan culture. The wooden cabins are rustic yet cozy, with every room detail reflecting Tibetan characteristics - exquisite Thangka paintings and beautiful Tibetan carpets telling ancient stories. Yet the room amenities are modern, with bedding so comfortable you'll want to take it home 🛏️ The hotel service is incredibly thoughtful, with staff as warm as old friends, even helping plan itineraries. Wake up to birdsong in the morning, open the window to fresh air filled with flower fragrance. Located in Chengdu's Eastern Suburb Memory, "Shu Banquet Fu" is undoubtedly one of the must-visit spots for tourists in Chengdu. This venue offers an immersive ancient royal dining experience, complete with palace-like decor, attendants dressed in traditional attire, and pre-dinner performances. The entire ambiance makes guests feel as though they are enjoying a grand feast in a royal palace. Visitors can even book a costume experience to transform into emperors or empresses, enhancing the immersive experience. 🎎 Due to its popularity, we pre-booked our lunch and selected our seats via a mini-program. On the day of our visit, the theme was "Chilly Spring Breeze Banquet," featuring seasonal dishes paired with performances showcasing different dynasties, allowing guests to truly experience "stepping into a painting and reliving a thousand years in a dream." As for the food, every dish was meticulously plated, presenting traditional flavors in an elegant manner. The dishes were served by attendants dressed as palace maids, complementing the performances. From appetizers, seafood, meat dishes, staples, to desserts, every course was a feast for the senses. Highlights included pigeon, Wagyu beef mapo tofu, golden-thread salad shrimp balls, golden abalone stew, and fresh bamboo shoots. 😋 The performances were equally captivating, showcasing the rise and fall of Chinese dynasties through costumes and music.
