The classic cases introduced in architecture textbooks are representative works of Chicago architecture, but the scene looks more confusing than in the book, just like an unfinished building, the structure is too protruding to see the curtain wall.

Marina City is a long-standing landscape pavilion. The blocks here are relatively wide. Try to go out as little as possible at night. There are many black communities. Chicago doesn't need a lot of time to play, and it's all a walk-and-see project.
Before I went to Chicago, I heard that the city’s architecture is very distinctive, including the Corn Building as a twin brother. When I arrived in Chicago, I learned that the official name of the Corn Building was Marina City. It was called the Corn Building only because it looked like a corn cob. These two buildings are indeed very beautiful. They are located on the Michigan River, especially the parking lot below the 18th floor of the building. There are no physical walls around the building. The rears of the cars are facing outwards. It looks very worrying, just in case. The driver did not brake in time when parking, did he fall off?
Maybe best known as the cover of Wilco's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, the Marina City towers are my favorite buildings in Chicago.
Marina City is commonly known as the Corn Building because of its shape resembling corn on the cob, and it has successfully become a landmark of Chicago, appearing in a large number of related film and television works and promotional albums. This comprehensive building contains two 61-storey residential buildings with a height of 179 meters, with a unique design of "city within a city". It contains restaurants, theaters, bowling alleys, and a dock that can accommodate 700 boats.
