The tallest building in Chicago and the second tallest in the United States. The elevator goes straight up to the 103rd floor, and the whole city of Chicago is in full view. It was a bit of a pity that we went up the building on a cloudy day. I believe that the panoramic view will look more beautiful on a sunny day.
The security check in the United States is very convenient. You have to go through the security check when you enter. There is a short movie introducing the historical background of the Willis Tower. Then I bought a ticket to SKYDEST. I had a panoramic view of Chicago. Great!!! The suspended glass is specially designed. It is a must-see for tourists! Hahahaha
The most annoying thing about this building is that the arrangement is a bit disordered. It is very slow to take the elevator upstairs. It seems that there is only one elevator. There is a 10-minute interval between each wave of passengers and the second wave. It is even more exaggerated when going down. The maximum interval is 15 minutes, and each wave can only transport about 15 people. Later, there were too many people in line, and it seemed that other spare elevators were opened to go down from an unconventional route.
I queued for three hours in the Willis Tower. If you want to go to the Willis Tower, you must go early, otherwise you will waste a whole day in the queue. Looking down at Chicago from the Willis Tower, I felt like I was standing so high!
There's no need to talk about the glass house, but I'd like to remind you that it's usually packed with people. However, it's great to watch the sunset here, and you can see the skyline from the city. It's the tallest building in the United States and once the tallest building in the world. Now the name has been changed, which is a bit sad.
