The environment is beautiful, the air is fresh, and the summers are relatively cool, similar to the climate of Xining. The scenic area uses a combined main entrance ticket and individual ticket system. The main entrance ticket is 50 yuan, which is fine, but the sub-attractions inside don't seem very cost-effective. The treetop walk, which is just a rotating metal frame, costs 70 yuan just to climb up and take a look. The zoo, with its small animals like mice and owls, also costs 68 yuan, more expensive than zoos in Chongqing's main urban area. The mini-train is very cost-effective, costing 25 yuan for a loop around the large lawn, with two stops where you can get off and re-board with your ticket. If possible, bring a two-kilowatt lithium battery and a microwave so you can prepare your lunch in advance and have it in the woods by the roadside.
