"This is a nice temple with good views out over harbour of northern peninsula. You will need to be respectful and cover shoulders and legs to enter site which is free. About 20 or so shops at bottom with reasonably priced tourist fare"

"The Temple of Guanyin is a famous temple on Sumei Island, many of the statues are sculptured in the open air. Moreover, the statues have the obvious characteristics of Chinese Buddha statues, there are many temples in the temple, there are calm lake, the scenery is very beautiful. It is not like a temple, but rather a park, and it is worth a visit."

"What's cooler than a mummy? A monk mummy. And he's got sunglasses! I wouldn't say it's worth the drive, but if you're in the area, why not?"

"When you visit Buddhist temples in Thailand, especially on Koh Samui, your eyes will start to be full of colors, with hundreds of colors everywhere. This temple is really different. It is all made of clay and has not been painted. I think it gives a more refined feeling. Given that there are few good choices on the island, I highly recommend this! A temple I accidentally discovered, a red temple made of red stones, is visually stunning. The mural carvings on the temple are very distinctive. If you are passing by on Koh Samui, you must come to see it"

"Came here with the cool off-road one-day tour of Namon Ecological Park and saw the super large Guan Yu statue. People in Hong Kong say that Guan Gong is domineering. The temple behind the statue is very antique, and many old things are full of Nanyang Chinese style. There are also some special snacks outside the temple, worth trying! If you participate in the tour itinerary around the island to take this attraction, remember to take more photos, highly recommended! The temple is a bit weird, it looks obviously not Thai style, more like Chinese style, but I think a lot of local should originate there. As it is located on the main traffic road from Samui to Maret, a stop sign is still needed."

"This temple gave me the opportunity to let my drone pass through the temple along the coast and into the bay, and then watch some wonderful landscapes. The temple itself is small, but very gorgeous, with a mummy monk sitting in a glass box on the beach. Found it! We did some exploration in the local villages and roads and found this lovely temple, right on Leam and the beach, as well as the small Leam and village. We saw spectacular waters and beaches, and the best part is that it is so local and authentic."

"This is a relatively remote place, and I think the only thing possible is that you own a car/motorcycle. When you visit, you may choose to be alone, so it must be quiet and relaxing. When we went, the main building was under construction (reconstruction), but the mummy monk was still there for people to watch. It's strange to see it, but it's also fun to visit it! This temple is not as popular as the Mummy Monastery, which makes it special. It is very different here, and there is a special breath in the air. Here you will become calm and relaxed, which is what we think after a while. Like the Mummy Monastery, the mummy monks here are also worth seeing. The reason I like it better is that you can take a look around here, and there are not too many people around when taking pictures. This temple is very similar to other temples, nothing special, but like other temples on Koh Samui, it is worth seeing here."

"Magical experience This is my first Vipassana experience and it is difficult to describe in words how wonderful it is to me. Only after 7 days of meditation did I realize how our lives are overwhelmed by thoughts, feelings and pain, so that we have no time to examine, feel and know who we are. The environment there is beautiful and we are in a very diverse, multicultural and respectful group. Our "mentor", my sister, is very humble, smart, helpful, and has a sense of humor. It is easy to endure long meditation and practice deeply. If you are thinking about doing this, don’t hesitate to read other reviews, have a strong mindset, don’t expect it, and get ready to enjoy a magical experience. If you are as lucky as me to have this sister, it will be even more special!"
