We drove all the way down Carlo Street to see these Victorian houses. Some of the houses were fully preserved and some were undergoing varying degrees of restoration. Well worth the visit if you like the Victorian area or interesting architecture. It would have been nice to have a guided tour outside these beautiful houses. Since these houses are privately owned, we can only imagine what the interior of the house is like.
I read Charles Fleming's "Secret Stairs" in LA and decided to visit Angelino Heights. The 2.5-mile walk starts from Echo Park Lake and continues to Angelino Heights (approximately 2 hours). Before the walking tour, I also checked the LA Natural Resources Management website for some additional information. They provided necessary information about the area and helped me a lot. This is the perfect time to visit, because the weather is not too hot, the lotus flowers in Echo Park Lake are open.
To learn about the history of Los Angeles, you should visit this place.
