The Chandler tree is the only tree along the Canadian coast. This huge tree has a big natural cave in its branches. The priest who owns this tree created a road through this tree (without destroying it at all), spacious enough to accommodate cars and subways. This is a very creative idea and it is worth visiting this place. Gift shop and lounge have facilities.
A free attraction in the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles, this is a novelty site.
California bucket list place. certainty a novelty to be able to drive through a 2000 year old tree.
Gorgeous tree that's lit up at night time :) plenty of parking, not hard to find. Wish I had a nicer phone camera to take a better picture of it. The art installation is free to look at, they have a meter where you could donate money (for electricity). Here's his history vimeo.com/69527636Heard someone proposed under the tree. How dreamy :)
Definitely not one of the major attractions of the LA area, but nonetheless, a unique one. This is exactly what it sounds like--it's a tree in someone's yard, with a number of chandeliers in it that get lit up at night.
